Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the optimum combustion state at any time by estimating the quality of burnt materials by counting backward both the state of actual operation and analysis values and by setting the operating condition of the incinerator on comparing the actual operating condition with the optimum operating condition set value corresponding to the quality. CONSTITUTION:When operating the incinerator, the water quantity, combustible carbon quantity and heat quantity are computed from the quantity and feed speed of thrown hurnt materials, quantity of exhaust gas, temperature of exhaust gas, quantity of auxiliary combustibles, quantity of water component in exhaust gas, quantity of carbonic acid gas in exhaust gas, quantity of secondary airs according to the selected purpose. The quantity of burnt materials is estimated from the computed analysis values, the actual operating condition is compared with the previously set optimum operating condition, and the incinerator is automatically controlled so that one or more values of the quantity of primary air, feed speed of burnt material, quantity of secondary air and quantity of auxiliary combustibles are made optimum.
