Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically keep a bucket in a predetermined pose and facilitate the operation of returning the bucket to the excavation starting position by providing a boom detector, bucket detector, control valve, and the like, in a shovel type excavator. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a boom detector 55, a bucket detector 56, and a control valve. The boom detector 55 consists of the first pressure generator 26 which generates a pilot pressure proportional to the displacement of the first piston 16. The bucket detector 56 consists of the second pressure generator 60 which generates a pilot pressure proportional to the displacement of the second piston. The control valve connects, at position C, not only a pressure source with the rod side of a bucket cylinder 8 rotating the bucket but also a tank with the bottom side of the bucket cylinder; at position D, the control valve connects not only the tank with the rod side of the bucket cylinder 8 but also the pressur source with the bottom side of the bucket cylinder.
