Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to read information from a memory at a high speed by providing an address latch latching an address from CPU and an address counter available for increment. CONSTITUTION:An address from CPU1 is latched by address latch circuit 6 and then set in address counter 7. Then the output of counter 7 is supplied to address decoder 8 and information of assigned address A is sent to CPU1. Next, counter 7 counts up to A+1 and the next access is started to send information of address A+1 to CPU1. Similarly, the contents of addresses that counter 7 indicates sequentially are sent to CPU1. Thus, addresses from CPU1 are only head address A and according to other addresses indicated by counter 7, access to the memory is attained, so that a high-speed read will come into effect.
