Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a device of the subject of an ink-on-demand type whose distances from ink chambers to nozzles can all be made equal, whose ink particle size can be made uniform, whose ink jetting speed is constant and whose accuracy of types is high, by arranging pressure chambers and pressure elements around the ink jet nozzles. CONSTITUTION:Ink filled in an ink reservoier 2 arranged on the outer periphery is supplied to each pressure chamber 3 from each supply port 9 of equal distance and is transferred to each nozzle 5 through each ink passage 4. When arranging them, the pressure chambers 3 are arranged on a plane around the nozzles 5 so that the distances from the nozzles 5 to the pressure chambers 3 may become nearly equal and ink may be jetted from the opposite side of a pressure element to decrease liquid resistance. By the electrostriction of piezoelectric elements 8, ink particles 13 are jetted and ink particles 14 of uniform size and an equal ink jet speed are obtained.
