Abstract

PURPOSE: To transmit power to the rotor side even under a suspension condition, and to eliminate dependence to the number of revolution, by mounting rotary rectifiers and induction type excitation machines to a rotor shaft of this non-commutator motor.
CONSTITUTION: Armature winding 11 is installed to the stator side of a non-commutator motor 1, and a magnetic pole and field pole winding 12 are disposed to the rotor side. Two pairs of rotary rectifiers 31, 32 and induction type excitation machines 21, 22 are directly coupled with a rotor shaft. The stator winding of two induction type excitation machines are connected so as to mutually generate revolving magnetic fields in the reverse directions while the number of poles and the number of winding are made the same, and power is supplied to the primary winding of the excitation machines from power sources with the same frequency and the same voltags. The winding at the secondary side of the excitation machines 21, 22 are once converted into direct currents through the rectifiers each, and added to excitation winding. Thus, power can be transmitted to the rotor side even under a suspension condition while a brushless excitation system that does not depend upon the number of revolution can be obtained.
