Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption by providing a constant-voltage element and a current limiting resistor in parallel with an isolator and a switching element.
CONSTITUTION: When a limit switch LS is closed, current I1 flows through the resistor R3, when the potential difference between the points P1 and P2 is raised exceeding Zener voltage of the Zener diode ZD, current I2 flows, and the terminal voltage of the diode is lowered suddenly. Furthermore, when the current I2 rises up and the potential difference between the points P1 and P2 becomes ON voltage of the switching element SBS, current I3 flows toward the photo-coupler. Resulting from the foregoing, most of the currents I2 which have flowed in the diode ZD flow toward the photo-coupler PC and the element SBS as the current I3, the voltage applied to the diode ZD is lowered, becomes below Zener voltage finally, and the diode ZD becomes a cut-off status.
