Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the heat collecting efficiency without change in the circulating function due to the vertical or horizontal direction of installation, by providing many water channels crosswise between the water supply port and the hot water outlet of a heat collecting panel.
CONSTITUTION: When a heat collecting panel 1b is placed in the vertical direction and it is connected to a hot water storage tank 2, water flow upward as shown by the arrows and it circulates between the panel and the hot water storage tank 2 and hot water is stored in the hot water storage tank 2. Next, in the case where the heat collecting panel 1b is placed horizontally, also, water rises as shown by the arrows (in the smaller drawing) and it circulates easily, so that the circulation function does not drop. That is, in this case, also, the circulatory force is directed upward. This is because, since many water channels 8 are provided crosswise around the junction 13 of circular depressions 7a, 7b, there is no difference in flow resistance from the case of vertical arrangement and the air produced at the time of heat collection is discharged easily. Further, the area of the depressions, in which no water channel is provided, becomes less than one-half of that of the conventional device, and the heat collecting effect by fin effect is improved.
