Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain electric power ecomonically from the sea water pressure from the sea water intake constructed economically by cutting off part of the wharf of the seashore.
CONSTITUTION: By cutting off part of the wharf 1 of the seashore, the sea water intake 5 at which the water pressure is raised by making the cross section gradually smaller toward the sea water pressure outlet side 4 is constructed. And, on the high sea water pressure outlet side 4 of the intake 5, the water wheel chamber W1 for the generator EG1 in the first power plant G1 is provided and the water wheel is turned by the sea water coming into the chamber W1 to generate electric power. The sea water from the water wheel chamber W1 is discharged and stored in the sea water storage tank 10 constructed by utilizing a level difference from the discharge side 8 through the discharge duct 9. Then, the sea water in the storage tank 10 is sent to the second generator EG2 through the head pipe 12 for the second power generation.
