Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a nonrefined high tensile steel plate so as to make it suitable for public works and construction or the like of which yield ratio is lowered compared to a steel plate with same strength level by reducing B contained in steel and limiting N in impurities to an especially low value.
CONSTITUTION: A nonrefined high tensile steel plate comprises C; 0.11W0.35%, Si; 0.05W0.90%, Mn; 0.75W2.50%, Mo; 0.05W0.80%, Nb; 0.01W0.08%, Sol Al; 0.03W0.15%, B; 0.0002W0.0015%, a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities and especially, N content in impurities thereof is lowered to below 0.0035%. Moreover, B content is lowered within a range maintaining hardenability so as to not deteriorate tenacity. By this composition, the hardenability enhancing effect of B is exhibted in case of steel rolling and acicular bainite formation is formed and a high tensile steel plate with low yield ratio is obtained without refining and rolling.
