Abstract

PURPOSE: To absorb and remove only volatile matter efficiently without starting the change of the quality of water by a method wherein spacers are inserted among not less than two water-repelling porous films between a liquid to be treated containing volatile components and an absorbing liquid and an inert gas or air are sent into space among the films that the spacers form.
CONSTITUTION: Hydrophobic, porous films 1, 1 are disposed at the both sides of a spacer 2, and an inert gas or air is introduced to space that the spacer makes up from an inlet nozzle 10 and exhausted from an outlet nozzle 11 when these gases reach fixed pressure. A liquid to be treated containing volatile components is collected to an outlet nozzle 7 through the space of a chamber frame 3 for the liquid to be treated from a nozzle 6 and discharged while an absorbing liquid is collected to a nozzle 9 through the space of an absorbing liquid chamber frame 4 from a nozzle 8 and discharged. The both liquids are sealed by means of module outer frames 5, 5. The volatile components in the liquid to be treated are moved to the absorbing liquid side through the hydrophobic, porous films 1, 1 and removed.
