Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of the component parts as well as to prevent the reduction of the transmission output and deterioration of the noise exponent at the reception time by securing the function of the duplexer circuit to isolate the transmission signal from the reception signal via the circular polarized wave slot antenna. CONSTITUTION:When the microwave signal enters feeder terminal 131 of one side of antenna 13 from transmitter 11, field EA1 and EB1 of nearly same amplitude are generated with vertical crossing to slot A1 and B1 featuring an angle of 90 deg.C to each other. Then the right-turned circular polarized wave's electromagnetic wave is radiated form slot pairs A1 and B1. The above electromagnetic wave hits the metal substance and is then reflected in the form of the left-turned circular polarized wave to then return to antenna 13. In this case, the similar field EA1 and EB1 are generated from slot pairs A1 and B1 with the phase of EA1 advance more than EB1 by 90 deg.C because of the left-turned circular polarized wave. As a result, the signal on strip line conductor 134 advances in the direction of feeder terminal 132 to be led to receiver 12 in the form of the reception signal. In this way, the transmission signal can be isolated from the reception signal.
