Abstract

1534210 Radar transmitter/receiver/antennae unit STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 29 Nov 1977 49605/77 Heading H4D A compact transmitter/receiver/antennae unit of triplate construction comprises a ground plane on each side; transmitter and reciever antennae slots in one ground plane; one stripline between the ground planes and coupled to the transmitter antenna slot(s) and to a transmitter semiconductor oscillator; and a second stripline between the ground planes and coupled to the receiver antenna slot(s) and to a mixer semiconductor device. The unit is useful in a Doppler intruder alarm, in a collision avoidance radar, or as a communications transceiver.
