Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high front-back ratio and low side lobe, by compensating the phase through other antennas adjacent to one antenna, which are located by 1/4 wave length on a plane orthogonal to the progressing direction of electromagnetic waves. CONSTITUTION:Two receiving sources 1 and 2 are loated to the signal wave E while keeping the distance (d) on an orthogonal plane with the lead of distance (l), i.e. 1/4 wave length toward the signal wave E. By compensating the lead of the receiving source 2 with the phase diference of delta, the maximum value of the directivity goes toward the front, and the value of the lobe toward the presence of interference waves can be lowered since the arrangement is not symmetrical at the side and back.
