Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable respective output beam intensities to be determined by the magnitudes of the respective signals irrespective of the presence or not and magnitudes of other input signals by controlling the intensity of the compensating output beam generated in addition to the required output beams by the correcting signal obtainable by the set of input signals.
CONSTITUTION: In a correction system 12, the (K)th input signal is applied to the (K)th expanding circuit 13-K of an expanding circuit group 13, so that respective outputs are generated. After the outputs of these expanding circuits are added in a second adder 14, the output thereof is applied to a compressing circuit 15. The output 17 of this compressing circuit 15 is the correction signal. The correction signal 17 is applied to a modulator 19, which in turn amplitude modulates the output of an oscillator 18 of frequency being fS. Arrangement is so made that the output of the modulator 19 is applied to the adder 9. By controlling the intensity of the compensating output beam with the correction signal determined from the input signals, determinining of the intensities of the respective output beams only by the respective input signals is made possible.
