Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate the nonlinear distortion generated in the post-stage, by adding the distortion generating circuit, and controlling the amplitude and phase of the main signal by the relative signal of its output signal and the distortionless input signal. CONSTITUTION:Two rows of quadrivalue signals, whose band has been limited are orthogonally modulated by the modulators 3, 4 in one side. On the other hand, the signals which have been orthogonally modulated by the modulators 5, 6 become signals having distortion by the distortion generating circuit 14 through the amplitude control circuit 13, are compared with the previous reference signal by the comparator 15, and the phase variation portion and the amplitude variation portion are output. The phase variation portion is applied to the phase control circuits 11, 12, and the amplitude variation portion is applied to the amplitude control circuit 13, by which a modulation signal is controlled.
