Abstract

PURPOSE: In Fe-Ni-Cr austenitic heat-resistant cast steel, a carbon content is increased and Nb and Co are added to enhance casting property and high-temperature strength of cast products without decreasing high-temperature oxidation-resistant property.
CONSTITUTION: A heat-resistant austenitic cast steel containing C;0.2-1.5%, Si;0.5- 5.0% Mn<2.5%,Cr;15-30%, Ni;8-40%, Nb;0.2-5%;Co;1-10% is provided. In this Fe-Ni-Cr austenitic heat-resistant cast steel, an increased carbon content contributes to an improved fluidity and casting property. The addition of Nb and Co effectively prevents the possible decrease on high-temperature antioxidation which might otherwise occur due to carbon increase, thereby enhancing high-temperature strength.
