Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement in the durability of an eddy current sensor by covering the lead wires of the beat thermistor with resin or glass thereby reinforcing lead wires without hampering the production and detection of eddy current. CONSTITUTION:Lead wires 2 of a beat thermistor 1 are bonded to electrodes 3 by such a method as soldering or wire bonding. The electrodes 3 are secuved to an electrode case 5 by way of an insulator 4. The lead wires 2 are covered with a resin or glass 6 to reinforce. The resin or glass 6 is formed to fine conical form on the beat thermistor side 1 so as not to hamper the production of eddy currents. Such constitution prevents the beat thermistor 1 from being vibrated by eddy currents or engine vibrations and obviated the occurrence of disconnection acidents of the lead wires 2.
