Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent fuel evaporation loss by arranging a check valve which opens only to the inside of a canister from outside, at an air communication part and by arranging a crank chamber communication part which communicates to the crank chamber of an engine through a magnetic valve. CONSTITUTION:In engine stop, the fuel vapour generated from a fuel tank 14 or a carburetor float chamber 20 passes through a fuel tank communication part 2 or a float chamber communication part 4 respectively and is absorbed by active carbon 1 in a canister 6, and the release of the fuel vapour having passed through active carbon 1 into the air from an air communication part 5 is obstructed by a check valve 7, and said fuel vapour is stored in a crank chamber 10, passing through a magnetic valve 8 which is open due to the opening of an ignition switch 25. In engine operation, the fuel vapour stored in the canister 6 is inhale into the intake pipe of a carburetor 16 from the purge port communication part 3 by the intake negative pressure in the carburetor 16. At this time, the air flows into the canister 6 from the check valve 6. Thus, fuel evaporation loss can be prevented.
