Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent injection defect of ink liquid by heating the ink flowed into an ink jet head to surely expell the air bubbles in the ink liquid then cooling the ink liquid having been heated again down to ordinary temperature. CONSTITUTION:Ink liquid having flowed into an ink liquid distributing chamber 2 through ink liquid influent port 9 is first heated by a heating element 14 at the time when it flows in the inside of the ink liquid influent chamber 2a. As a result, the air bubbles in the ink liquid grow, rise rapidly, arrive at the air layer in the upper part of the ink liquid distributing chamber 2 and are exhausted to the outside through an exhaust hole 12. The ink liquid reaches the upper part of an intermediate chamber 2b from the ink liquid influent chamber 2a and flows toward the lower part of the intermediate chamber 2b and therefore entering of the air bubbles into the effluent chamber 2c does not occur. The ink liquid is cooled down to about ordinary temperature by a cooling element 16. In this way, the injection defect of the ink liquid owing to the mixed presence of the air bubbles may be prevented.
