Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to blow out hot wind with a desired temperature simultaneously upon beginning of printing works by controlling discharging and returning amounts of air out of a deodorizing chamber, equipped with a drying furnace integrally, and restricting fuel consumption while keeping catalysts at a proper temperature during a period for preparation.
CONSTITUTION: In a temperature keeping process, only a preheat burner 16 and a fan 6 are operated and most of hot air is circulated by lifting up a tip of a damper 23 for a discharging air distributing chamber 22. All of hot air introduced into a hot air generating chamber 3 is flown reversely out of a receiving port 25 and is circulated again into a deodorizing chamber 13 by the fan 6 with sucked air from a drying chamber 2. The burner 16 is operated to rise the temperature of the circulating air so as to compensate lowered temperature during this period and thus prevent the cold catalyst layer 17 from adhering tar produced from vapor of a solvent touching thereto upon beginning of printing works and also the hot air generating chamber 3 is kept at a predetermined temperature. A consumption of heat energy for keeping the temperature of the device is 25W30% of a heat necessary for normal printing works.
