Abstract
PURPOSE: To recycle resources through an economical disposal of waste, by producing water dross in such a manner that crushes dross by water after producing the dross as a result of heating and melting burned ash of sludge or dust.
CONSTITUTION: Burned ash of sludge or dust is molten by a melting furnace 1, such as an electric furnace etc., to obtain dross of a high temperature. A great amount of water injected by means of a blaster 3 cools molten dross and simultaneously crushes it into particles to produce water dross. Since the water dross is mixed with a great volume of water, it is fed to a condensing bath 5 where water is overflown, and condensed water dross fluid is fed to a dehydrating and storage bath 7 where the fluid is seperated into solid matter and liquid through the work of a porous wall screen part 7a, such as a metal mesh etc. On the other hand, water overflown from the condensing bath 5 and from the dehydrating and storage bath 7 is recycled to the blaster 3 for reusing. The water dross, which is produced in such a manner as mentioned above, is utilized as material of cement, aggregate for structure, and the like, and thus, waste resources can be utilized effectively.
