Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate occurrence of the abnormal phenomenon of IC by detecting the fact that the highest potential is not applied to the substrate bias potential by some reason although it is usually applied and then reducing the output of the constant voltage circuit used for the current switching logic circuit groups which is operating at the minimum potential side. CONSTITUTION:The IC circuit consists of current switching logic circuit group 15 connected to minimum potential 2, serial constant voltage circuit A comprising transistor 3 and 4 plus resistances 10-12, transistor 5 and 6, diodes 7-9, resistance 13 and 14, power terminal 1 featuring the highest potential, and others. In such constitution, circuit A features the normal operation when the normal potential is applied to terminal 1 and 2. And accordingly, circuit group 15 also features the normal operation because it is driven by circuit A. However, in case power supply 1 cut off by some reason, the function of circuit A is stopped. As a result, the PNPN ratch action due to the abnormal current never occurs.
