Abstract

PURPOSE: An above-titled device which can operate stably while enhancing enrichment of sludge and preventing deterioration of separated water, wherein a sludge feed pump and a floated sludge skimmer are drive-controlled integrally or individually according to the instruction from a sludge thickness detector placed in the floated sludge region of a floating enriching tank.
CONSTITUTION: A detctor 31 for detecting the thickness of a floated sludge region 7 is placed in the region 7 of a floating enriching tank 4, and is connected with the power source 8 of a skimmer 9 and with a sludge feed pump 2, so as to control the thickness of the region 7. With the thickness of the region 7 increased, the pump 2 is stopped and the revolution rate of the skimmer 9 is increased; with the thickness decreased, the pump 2 is operated and the revolution rate of the skimmer 9 is decreased. Separated water flows through a separated water tank 14 into a tank 16, and a portion of it is discharged via a pipe 17. The remainder is turned into pressurized solution by dissociation of air in the pressurized water tank 20, flows through a reduction valve 25 into a pipe 3, and generates fine bubbles for floating the sludge.
