Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain ferro-magnetic powder having uniform characteristic and to facilitate the cleaning in the reaction path, by performing the generative reaction in the reaction path where the field is formed by coil in the direction of solution flow.
CONSTITUTION: Solution A containing a metallic salt and solution B of reduction agent are supplied to the solution supplying tubes 5, 6 and flowed in the tube 4 in the direction a. In said reaction path 4a ferromagnetic material is produced by the function of magnetic field ϕ2 produced by the coil 8, and the solutions are passed through the tube 9 then separated at the separator. Since the field ϕ2 is uniform in the flow direction a ferromagnetic powder having uniform characteristic is obtained. Before total volume of said solutions reaches 10 times of inner volume of reaction path 4a, the current in the coil 8 is interrupted then the solution supplying tubes 5, 6 are closed and the reaction path 4a is cleaned through the water supplying tube 7. Consequently uniform ferromagnetic powder is obtained.
