Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for controlling position of truck, which is capable of improving accuracy of determining travelling position of truck, by calculating expansion of rope due to fatigue or other reason from the difference of outputs of two rope position detectors and controlling the travelling position of truck in use of the above expansion of rope as compensating variable.
CONSTITUTION: Signals from rope position detectors 28, 29 are given to operator 27, which produces a rope expansion signal 106 from the difference of the above two signals from detectors 28 and 29. Set value 101 of position setting means 6 and rope expansion signal 106 are supplied to means 7 for determining standard travelling position of truck, which gives reference signal 107 instructing standard travelling position of truck. This reference signal 107 and feedback signal 103 afforded from rope travelling position detector 30 are added in truck position controlling circuit 11, and reference speed signal 108 is given from the circuit 11. In speed controlling means 13, the above reference signal 108 and speed feedback signal 109 are compared with each other, and output signal from the means 13 is given to motors 14, 15, whereby it is enabled to drive truck 1 under desired conditions.
