Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely small-area and high-performance oscillator circuit featuring the low voltage operation (about 0.6V) with low power consumption along with the shortened oscillation start time by constituting with only the integrated injection logic circuit and the capacitive element. CONSTITUTION:The oscillator circuit consists of three units of integrated injection logic circuits (1a and 1b, 2a and 2b plus 3a and 3b) comprising the reverse npn transistor Tr and the base-earthed lateral npn Tr plus capacitive element (crystal oscillator) 4. Tr3a is used to draw out the output of the oscillator, and the active element of the oscillator circuit consists of only the integrated injection logic circuit. Thus, the operation becomes possible with the low voltage of about 0.6V for power source TCC.
