Abstract

(57)【要約】 (修正有) 【課題】溶着シリンダにおいて、行なわれた横断溶着に
対して、それを行なった溶着バーを明らかに割当てる。 【解決手段】 フレームに取付けられた溶着シリンダ1
に、回転駆動装置と複数の溶着バー2とが備えられてい
る。溶着バーは円周方向に等角度間隔で配置されると共
に、回転軸線に平行に配置され、支持体によって半径方
向に連続的に調節できると共に、作動及び非作動の目的
のために支持体に対して半径方向に進退可動である。通
過するフィルムチューブに特定の溶着を行なった各溶着
バーを特定する目的のため、各溶着を行なった溶着バー
を表示する識別マークを溶着済みのウェブに付するため
のエンボスダイが、各溶着バーの円周方向前方又は後方
に取付けられている。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は溶着シリンダに関
し、同溶着シリンダはフレームに取付けられ、回転駆動
装置と複数の溶着バーとを備えてなり、前記複数の溶着
バーは円周方向にわたって等角度間隔で配置され、回転
軸線と平行に配置され、同溶着バーはその支持体によっ
て半径方向に連続的に調節することができると共に、作
動及び非作動させる目的のために支持体に対して半径方
向に進退可動な装置に関する。

【従来の技術】DE−PS第2162789 号で開示された溶
着シリンダでは、溶着バーを適当に作動及び/又は非作
動させ溶着シリンダの直径を比較的わずかに拡張するこ
とによって、広範囲にわたって調節できる溶着間隔をも
って、筒状のフィルム又は二重のフィルムウェブに横断
する方向の溶着を行なうことができる。例えば、5本の
溶着バーが溶着シリンダの円周にわたって配置されてい
て、1つおきの溶着バーが連続して係合するように溶着
部分の機能を切替えたとすると、第1、第3、第5、第
2、第4、第1、第3(以下同じ)の溶着バーが連続的
に溶着を行なう。従って、溶着された筒状のフィルムウ
ェブ又は二重のフィルムウェブ上を見ても、もはや、ど
の溶着バーが個々の溶着を行なったのかを明らかに知る
ことはできない。しかしながら、仮に、個々の溶着が不
完全に行なわれていたとするならば、欠陥のある溶着を
行なった溶着バーを特定して、かかるバーに必要な補修
又は交換を行うことが必要になる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従って、本発明の目的
は、従来技術において説明したタイプの溶着シリンダに
おいて、行なわれた横断溶着に対して、それを行なった
溶着バーを明らかに割当てることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上述の問題を解決するた
めに、本発明では、それぞれの溶着を行なった溶着バー
を表示する識別マークを溶着済みのウェブに付けるべ
く、エンボスダイを各溶着バーの円周方向前方又は後方
に取付けた。従って、マークによってどの溶着バーが各
横断溶着を行なったのかを明らかに決定することができ
る。マークは、各溶着バーに割当てられた順序番号と同
じ数のドットで構成することができる。溶着シリンダに
5本の溶着バーが備えられているとすると、エンボスダ
イは1〜5個のドットのエンボス加工を行なう。独立し
た保護を求めて請求項に記載している1の改良発明で
は、2本の平行な溶着を行なうべく、各溶着バーには2
つの平行な溶着片ないし2つの平行な溶着面が備えら
れ、一方の溶着片ないし一方の溶着面だけが溶着を行な
うように、溶着シリンダの回転軸線と平行な軸線のまわ
りに前記溶着バーを旋回しロックすることができる。こ
れによれば、例えば底部に1本の溶着部を有するバッグ
を生産するのに必要となる特徴、つまり各溶着バーが1
本だけの溶着を行なうようにしたり、または、各溶着バ
ーが2本の平行な溶着を行なうことで、半筒状のウェブ
からスタートして、2本の溶着部が、バッグ側面に並ん
でいるバッグを生産したりするように、溶着シリンダを
簡単に改装することができる。
【0005】平行に並んで配された溶着を行なうために
2つの平行な溶着片ないし溶着面を溶着バーに備えたと
きには、2本の平行な溶着のうち一方を行なった溶着片
ないし溶着面を特定できるように、2つの溶着片ないし
溶着面のそれぞれにエンボスダイを割当てるのが都合が
よい。各溶着バーをU字形のハウジングで包囲して、同
ハウジングの縁部にエンボス加工を行なう突起部を設け
るのがよい。突起部は、ハウジングの縁部にねじ込まれ
たネジの端部によって構成することができる。以下、添
付図面を参照しつつ本発明の1つの実施形態について説
明する。

【発明の実施の形態】図1は、溶着シリンダ1を模式的
に示しており、同溶着シリンダは機械フレーム(図示せ
ず)に取付けられており、回転駆動装置が備えられてい
る。前記溶着シリンダには5本の溶着バー2が備えら
れ、これらは円周方向に等角度間隔に配置されていると
共に、U字形のハウジング3によって包囲されていて、
前記バーの間には突っ張り部材4が備えられている。溶
着シリンダ1、溶着バー2、ハウジング3、突っ張り部
材4、及びそれらに共通する調節駆動装置は、DE−P
S第2162789 号で説明されているのと同じやり方の原理
でデザインされているので、より詳細な説明については
同文献を参照されたい。
【0007】溶着バー2のまわりには、無端状の圧力ベ
ルト5の圧力ストランドが巻掛けられていて、溶着バー
は図示しない方法によって半径方向にハウジング3及び
突っ張り部材4と共に可動することができる。前記圧力
ベルトのゆるみ側はガイドロール6及びウェブ貯蔵体
(図示せず)のローラに亘って走行する。図2から明ら
かなように、溶着バー2を包囲するU字形の溶着ハウジ
ング3は空気シリンダ7に取付けられており、同シリン
ダはさらに支持体(図示せず)へと取付けられて、横断
溶着を行なう所定の間隔を調節できるように同支持体を
半径方向に連続的に調節可能にしている。空気シリンダ
7のピストンロッド8の自由端にはシム9が取付けられ
ており、同シム内の丸棒10を介して溶着バー2が保持
されており、図3に示す如く側方に旋回させて位置から
はずすことができる一方、図2に示す如く溶着バー2の
中心平面を空気シリンダの中心線と整列させた所定の位
置にすることもできる。まずシム9のクランプネジ11
をゆるめて、溶着バー2を所望に調節した後、再び締付
けることで、溶着バー2を旋回させることができる。
【0008】図2及び図3に示すように、溶着バーの上
側自由端には、間隔を隔てて2つの溶着片12及び13
が設けられている。ピストンロッド8を適当に伸縮動作
させることで、これらの溶着片は図示の引込んだ位置か
ら図示の伸張位置12’及び13’へと突出し、かかる
位置においては溶着片は概略ハウジング3の側縁部を結
ぶ平面内にあるか又はそこからわずかに突出する。図2
に示す伸張した位置においては、溶着片12’及び1
3’は圧力ベルト5により同溶着片へ押し当てられてい
る筒状のフィルムウェブ14に、間隔を隔てた2本の溶
着を平行に行なう。図3に示すように、溶着バー2を側
方へ旋回させた位置においては、伸張位置において溶着
片13が十分側方へ旋回しており、同溶着片13はもは
や溶着を行なうために筒状のフィルムウェブ14に達す
ることができないので、溶着片12’のみが1本の横断
溶着を行なう。
【0009】溶着片12及び13の溶着面は丸められて
いるので、図3に示す溶着片12’が側方へ旋回した位
置においても、前記溶着片は完全な横断溶着を行なうこ
とができる。ハウジング3の側壁部15及び16の上縁
部には、広がり屈曲部17が設けられており、ここには
雌ネジ孔が設けられて、先端の丸められた調節ネジ19
がねじ込まれており、この先端が縁部から突出して、通
過する筒状のフィルムウェブ14へのエンボスダイを形
成している。ネジ19の端部は平たいカップ形状の陥凹
部を形成し、これは筒状のプラスチックフィルムウェブ
14に残り、これらの陥凹部によって、エンボスによっ
て特徴付けられる溶着を行なった溶着片12及び13が
特定される。
【0010】溶着バー2の各溶着片12及び13の所定
の順序を示す数字と等しい数の調節ネジ19が広がり縁
部17及び18にねじ込まれている。DE−PS第2162
789 号で例として説明したように、テフロン又はシリコ
ンの布がハウジング3の縁部17及び18に張り渡され
る。従って、調節ネジ19の端部により形成されたネ
ジ、即ちエンボスダイが、テフロン又はシリコーンの布
にマークをパンチする。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 フレームに取付けられ、回転駆動装置と
    複数の溶着バー(2)とを備えた溶着シリンダ(1)で
    あって、前記複数の溶着バーは円周方向にわたって等角
    度間隔で配置され且つ回転軸線と平行に配置され、同溶
    着バーはその支持体の手段によって半径方向に連続的に
    調節することができると共に、作動及び非作動させる目
    的のために支持体に対して半径方向に進退可動なものに
    おいて、 各溶着を行なった溶着バーを表示する識別マークを溶着
    済みのウェブに付するエンボスダイ(19)が、各溶着
    バー(2)の円周方向前方又は後方に取付けられている
    ことを特徴とする溶着シリンダ。
  2. 【請求項2】 2本の平行な溶着を行なうべく、各溶着
    バー(2)には2つの平行な溶着片(12,13)ない
    し2つの平行な溶着面が備えられ、一方の溶着片(1
    2’)ないし一方の溶着面だけが溶着を行なうように、
    溶着シリンダ(1)の回転軸線と平行な軸線のまわりに
    前記溶着バーを旋回しロックすることができることを特
    徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着シリンダ。
  3. 【請求項3】 2つの溶着片(12,13)ないし溶着
    面のそれぞれにエンボスダイ(19)が割当てられてい
    ることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の溶着シリン
    ダ。
  4. 【請求項4】 各溶着バー(2)はU字形のハウジング
    (3)によって包囲されており、同ハウジングの縁部
    (17,18)にはエンボスを行なう突起部(19)が
    設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいず
    れか1項に記載の溶着シリンダ。
  5. 【請求項5】 突起部は、ハウジングの縁部(17,1
    8)にねじ込まれたネジ(19)の端部を構成すること
    を特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の溶
    着シリンダ。
