Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify thread dispensing at the and of sewing works in a multi- thread chain stitch sewing machine and facilitate the dispense of the stitch at the sewing end point, by manipulating a letting-out device of thread after a tread-adjusting device has been loosened after a sewing work to send out a thread needle and cutting an appropriate position of the thread by a cutter. SOLUTION: When a sewing machine is driven, stitches are formed at both front and rear faces of a sewing cloth 5 by cooperation of needles 1, 2 in which threads are inserted respectively and multi-thread chain stitch looper 8. When the sewing work has come to an end, the sewing machine is stopped at the dead point of the needle positioned upward (in this state, the thread 9, 10 of the needle are caught by the multi-thread chain stitch looper 8). Then, the treads 9, 10 are released by manipulating thread-adjusting device 3, 4 and the thread 9, 10 are drawn by an appropriate length by manipulating a letting-out device 12 of thread to rotate the letting-out lever 14 and secure a sufficient length of the left thread of the needle for the next sewing work. And then, the thread is cut off above the sewing cloth 5 by the cutter provided at the cloth-pressing leg 7. Thereafter, the sewing cloth 5 is drawn out and the looper- thread 11 is cut off.

[0003] A conventional motion mechanism for forming a stitch on a double-ring sewing machine is such that when the tip of the needle 21 (left side) is located above the upper surface of the needle plate 22, the looper 23 for the double ring catches the needle thread 24. When the needle thread 24 is pulled out from the looper, the tip of the needle 21 is below the upper surface of the needle plate 22 (see FIG. 9). 25 is a right needle, 26 is a thread tensioner, 27 is a cloth presser foot, 28 is a sewn cloth, and 29 is a looper thread for a double ring. Therefore, the removal of the sewing cloth and the disposition of the thread at the end of sewing in the conventional double-ring sewing machine become very complicated, and are generally as follows (see FIGS. 10 to 11).

At the end of sewing, the sewing machine is stopped at the position of the top dead center of the needle (as described above, in the phase where the tip of the needle is above the needle plate, the needle thread is captured by the double loop looper), Next, the sewing machine is rotated half a turn to stop the needle at the position of the bottom dead center (a state in which the needle pierces the cloth and the needle thread is released from the double loop looper). Next, the sewing machine is stopped at the needle top dead center while rotating the sewing machine a half turn (in a state where the needle thread is released from the double loop looper and the needle comes off from the cloth and is furthest away).
Is released from the looper 23 for the double ring, and the sewing cloth 28 can be taken out by releasing the pressing of the thread tensioner 26 to release the needle thread 24.

However, if the sewing machine is not rotated half a turn in the reverse direction, the sewing cloth 28 cannot be taken out of the sewing machine, and it is difficult to take out the cloth due to the reverse rotation of the sewing machine. The last two or three stitches provided on the upper part may be unraveled, and further care may be required if the cloth is not carefully handled. Traces of unsealing have disadvantages such as a decrease in the value as a sewn product because the needle holes 30 remain on the cloth.

Therefore, a needle plate is provided substantially horizontally on the sewing machine frame, and the needle plate is provided above the needle plate. The needle bar is supported so as to be capable of reciprocating movement in the up and down direction, and a looper is supported so as to be capable of reciprocating in an arc shape below the needle plate, and a needle fixed to an end of the looper and the needle bar. In the double-ring sewing machine for performing double-ring sewing on the sewn cloth placed on the needle plate, the sewing machine is stopped at the needle bar top dead center position at the end of sewing, and then the needle thread is After loosening the thread tension device, the thread feeding device provided at an appropriate position on the machine frame above the needle plate is operated to feed out the needle thread connected to the sewing cloth. Cut the appropriate part with the needle thread cutting device, then raise the cloth presser foot, and then pull the sewing cloth from above the needle plate. The portion of the needle thread of the last stitch on 該被 sewn cloth is moved to the fabric under side by the drawer work with to,
Next, the thread processing can be completed by cutting the looper thread connected to the cloth to be sewn, so that the thread processing can be completed very easily as compared with the conventional thread processing method, and the final seam portion is not frayed. It does not occur. Therefore, it is possible to provide a product that does not leave traces of needles stuck on the sewn product, so that production efficiency can be improved and
The effect that can contribute to the improvement of the quality level of the product is great.
