Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lower thread supply management device in a sewing machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, for example, sewing machines such as quilting machines cooperate with the needle with the sewing cloth by moving the blade portion through which the lower thread advances and retreats in conjunction with the vertical movement of the needle through which the upper thread passes. A looper for forming a predetermined stitch is provided. Further, between the looper and a lower thread supply source for supplying a lower thread to the looper, the lower thread drawn from the lower thread supply source is contacted and passed, and the lower thread passes through a predetermined lower thread path. A lower thread supply management device including a lower thread guide unit that guides the lower thread to be supplied to the looper is provided. In addition, at the front position below the needle plate and substantially facing the looper, when the needle pierces the sewing cloth from the top dead center position and starts descending toward the bottom dead center position, A spreader is provided that temporarily locks a loop of a lower thread extending from a front end and an upper thread captured by a blade portion and repeats a predetermined closed-loop movement.
[0003]
At the time of sewing, various stitches such as double chain stitching are formed on the fabric for sewing by cooperation of the needle, the looper and the spreader. That is, while the needle thread loop formed when the needle rises from the bottom dead center position is captured by the advancing blade portion, the needle is locked by the spreader when the needle descends from the top dead center position, and By lowering the needle into a triangular space such as a lower thread formed by stretching, the upper thread and the lower thread are looped by another thread.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the lower thread supplied to the looper from the lower thread supply source is loosened or broken, the lower thread is locked by the spreader that moves in a closed loop and pulled in the lateral direction. In some cases, it was not possible to form a neatly triangular shape with the lower thread or the like. For this reason, the needle descending from the top dead center position to the bottom dead center position cannot enter the triangular space surrounded by the lower thread or the like, and as a result, the stitches of the sewn product become stitched. There was a problem that this would cause flying, resulting in product loss.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a purpose thereof is to appropriately manage a supply state of a bobbin thread supplied to a looper, and to prevent sewing from occurring due to a skipped stitch. An object of the present invention is to provide a lower thread supply management device in a machine.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 of the present application relates to a sewing cloth by moving a blade portion through which a lower thread advances and retreats in conjunction with a vertical movement of a needle through which an upper thread passes. Manages the supply state of the lower thread so that the lower thread drawn from the lower thread supply source is supplied in a predetermined lower thread supply state to a looper forming a predetermined stitch in cooperation with the needle. A lower thread guide unit for contacting and passing the lower thread so that the lower thread supplied from the lower thread supply source side to the looper side passes through a predetermined lower thread path; A lower thread interference member configured to be able to engage with the lower thread that passes through the lower thread guide and to always move toward one of the moving ends, wherein the lower thread interference member is When the lower thread is engaged with the thread, the lower thread passes through the lower thread guide in a pressure-contact state. Was the gist that it has to so that.
[0007]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the lower thread supply management device in the sewing machine according to the first aspect, the lower thread interference member is provided on the distal end side around a rotation fulcrum on the proximal end side. The gist of the invention is that the lower thread engaging portion swings so as to move along a rotation locus intersecting the lower thread path.
[0008]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the lower thread supply management device for a sewing machine according to the first or second aspect, the thread breakage occurs when the lower thread interference member reaches the one moving end. The gist of the present invention is to include a detection unit that outputs a detection signal, and a control unit that stops driving of the sewing machine based on the output of the yarn breakage detection signal from the detection unit.
