Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.玉軸受組立体用の一体金属製玉軸受保持器を形成する方法であり、 金属の平らな薄いリングを作る段階と、 前記平らな薄いリングを初期形ボールポケット及び隣接する初期形ボー ルポケットの間に繋ぎ材料を有する改造形リングに形成する段階と、 丸い表面を与える可動アンビルを前記初期形ボールポケットの中に位置 決めする段階と、 ほぼ平らな繋ぎ部を前記可動アンビルの丸い表面の180°以上の円周 に一致する隣接する最終形ボールポケットの間に形成するように前記繋ぎ材料を 改造する段階と、 前記最終形ボールポットが前記可動アンビルを前記最終形ボールポケッ トが取除き易くするために前記可動アンビルの丸い表面の180°以上の円周に 一致しないように少なくとも一つの可動アンビルを動かす段階とを備える一体金 属玉軸受保持器形成方法。 2.前記可動アンビルが前記改造リングに垂直な軸の周りに回転自在であり 、前記可動アンビルを動かす段階が前記可動アンビルを前記軸の周りに回転する 段階を含む請求項1に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 3.前記可動アンビルの前記丸い表面が球の円周に沿った帯である請求項1 に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 4.前記丸い表面が前記玉軸受保持器が一緒に用いられるべき軸受玉より大 きい直径を有し、前記軸受玉が前記最終形ボールポケットの中で自由に回転でき るようにした請求項3に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 5.前記可動アンビルの各々が前記丸い表面を支える柱を備え、前記繋ぎ材 料を改造する段階が前記ほぼ平らな繋ぎ部の弦の長さを制限するように前記繋ぎ 材料を前記柱に突き合わせる請求項1に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法 。 6.前記ほぼ平らな繋ぎ部の少なくとも幾つかが軸受玉を前記最終形ボール ポケットに挿入するとき、隣接軸受玉の間の中心線距離より大きい予め定めた弦 の長さを有する請求項1に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 7.前記初期形ボールポケットの間の繋ぎ材料がテント形である請求項1に 記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 8.初期形ボールポケットの間の前記繋ぎ材料が湾曲したアーチ形状である 請求項1に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 9.前記平らな薄いリングが巾広金属帯から座金状ブランクを打抜くことに よって形成される請求項1に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 10.前記平らな薄いリングが巾の狭い金属帯をエッジワイズに巻いて前記巾 の狭い帯の端領域を接合することによって形成される請求項1に記載の一体金属 製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 11.前記巾の狭い帯の接合端領域が最終形ボールポケット内に位置する結合 部となっている請求項10に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 12.前記平らな薄いリングが巾の狭い金属帯をエッジワイズに巻いて前記巾 の狭い帯の端領域を重ね接合を用いて結合することによって形成される請求項1 に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 13.前記最終形ボールポケットを形成したのちに焼き入れ及び焼き戻しの段 階をさらに備える請求項1に記載の一体金属製玉軸受保持器形成方法。 14.ボールポケットと前記ボールポケットの間に繋ぎ部分を有し、前記繋ぎ 部分の少なくとも一部分が予め定めた弦の長さを有する一体金属製玉軸受保持器 を形成する段階と、 軸受玉を内輪と外輪の間の環状空間に位置決めし、軸受玉を前記予め定 めた弦の長さより短い平均弦の距離だけ離す段階と、 前記軸受玉が逐次に前記ボールポケットに入るとき、前記軸受玉が円周 方向に動いて、前記玉軸受保持器の繋ぎ部分が隣接する軸受玉の間を通過できる ように前記玉軸受保持器を前記環状空間に挿入する段階を備える玉軸受組立体組 立方法。 15.前記玉軸受保持器が弾力性材料で作られ、前記玉軸受保持器を挿入する 段階が前記玉軸受保持器を弾力的に変形して前記玉軸受保持器が挿入後前記初期 の形状に戻るようにする玉軸受組立体組立方法。 16.前記玉軸受保持器を挿入する工程の後に、前記繋ぎ部分の少なくとも幾 つかの端が前記軸受玉と係合できて前記玉軸受保持器が前記内輪と外輪に対して 軸方向に前記軸受玉から離れないようになっている請求項14に記載の玉軸受組 立体組立方法。 17.前記玉軸受保持器のボールポケットの各々がそれぞれの軸受玉の一部分 を受けるほぼ球形に凹んだ表面を備え、前記凹んだ表面が前記軸受玉の直径より 大きい直径を有し、前記軸受玉が前記ボールポケット内で自由に回転できるよう にした請求項14に記載の玉軸受組立体組立方法。 18.前記凹んだ表面が前記軸受玉を前記玉軸受保持器内に保持するように1 80°以上の弧を張る請求項17に記載の玉軸受組立体組立方法。 19.前記玉軸受保持器を内輪と外輪の間の環状空間に挿入する段階が隣接軸 受玉の間に第1の繋ぎ部分を押込み、その他の繋ぎ部分が他の隣接軸受玉の間に 逐次に押し込まれるように前記玉軸受保持器を引き続いて動かすことを含む請求 項14に記載の玉軸受組立体組立方法。 20.前記内輪と外輪が軸受の端面を構成し、前記玉軸受保持器を前記内輪と 外輪の間の環状空間に挿入する段階が前記軸受端面に対して最初は傾いており、 引き続いて前記軸受端面に平行に動かされる突き合せ面を有する挿入工具によっ て助けられる請求項19に記載の玉軸受組立体組立方法。 21.前記挿入工具が前記突き合せ面を傾斜した初期の位置にバイアスするバ イアス手段を備え、前記挿入工具を前記内輪と外輪に対して軸方向に進めること によって突き合せ面が玉軸受保持器に係合し、前記バイアス手段のバイアス力に 打勝って前記軸受端面に平行な次の位置に前記突き合せ面を動かす請求項20に 記載の玉軸受組立体組立方法。
