Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double water tank with a cleaning plug capable of naturally discharging a sewage in the fish tank chamber into a settling tank under the fish tank by natural flow discharging actions and always cleaning the interior of the fish tank. SOLUTION: This fish tank comprises four tanks of a settling tank 14, a lifting cylinder 3, an activation chamber 7 and a fish tank chamber 17 and is capable of treating even any small amount of sewage without loss thereof and an accumulated sewage can be discharged without being brought into contact with fishes. Fine sewages are precipitated by actions of the lifting cylinder 3 and fresh water filtered through asbestos is further passed through limestone 6 in the activation chamber 7 by pumping up and circulated through the fish tank chamber 17. The interior of the fish tank where the fishes live can be kept in an always clean environment with active water prepared by the limestone 6 and water surface grass 8.
