Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.C型肝炎ウイルス(HCV)感染の処置のために個体に受動免疫する方法で あって、アミノ酸配列aa1-aa2-aa3-aa4-aa5-aa6を含むモチーフに結合し得る抗 体を含む抗体組成物を該個体に投与することを包含し、ここで、 aa1は、S、G、A、D、K、R、あるいはTであり; aa2は、L、F、I、M、あるいはWであり; aa3は、FあるいはLであり; aa4は、任意のアミノ酸であり; aa5は、任意のアミノ酸であり;そして、 aa6は、GあるいはAである、 方法。 2.前記アミノ酸配列が、aa6に接続された付加アミノ酸aa7をさらに含み、こ こで、aa7は、A、P、あるいはSである、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記抗体組成物が、前記モチーフを含むキャリア複合体化ペプチドで別の 個体を免疫することによって得られる、請求項1あるいは2に記載の方法。 4.アミノ酸配列aa1-aa2-aa3-aa4-aa5-aa6を有する抗原決定基を認識し得る 抗体: ここで、 aa1は、S、G、A、D、K、R、あるいはTであり; aa2は、L、F、I、M、あるいはWであり; aa3は、FあるいはLであり; aa4は、任意のアミノ酸であり; aa5は、任意のアミノ酸であり;そして、 aa6は、GあるいはAである。 5.前記アミノ酸配列が、aa6に接続されたもう1つのアミノ酸aa7をさらに含 み、ここで、aa7は、A、P、あるいはSである、請求項4に記載の抗体。 6.前記抗体がモノクローナル抗体である、請求項4あるいは5に記載の抗体 。 7.aa1-aa2-aa3-aa4-aa5-aa6により特徴づけられるモチーフを含む、免疫原 性ポリペプチド: ここで、 aa1は、S、G、A、D、K、R、あるいはTであり; aa2は、L、F、I、M、あるいはWであり: aa3は、FあるいはLであり; aa4は、任意のアミノ酸であり; aa5は、任意のアミノ酸であり;そして、 aa6は、GあるいはAであり、 但し、該モチーフは、1993年5月12日のものとして公知であ るHCV分離株の天然に存在するE2HVドメインの31アミノ酸配列内に含まれていな い。 8.前記アミノ酸配列が、aa6に接続された付加アミノ酸aa7をさらに含み、こ こで、aa7は、A、P、あるいはSである、請求項7に記載の免疫原性ポリペプチド 。 9.請求項7あるいは8に記載の少なくとも1つの免疫原性ポリペプチド、お よび薬学的に受容可能なキャリアを含有する、ワクチン。 10.請求項9に記載のワクチンを個体に投与することを包含する、HCV感染 個体を処置する方法。 11.生物学的試料中の抗C型肝炎ウイルス(HCV)抗体を検出するためのイ ムノアッセイ方法であって、該方法が、 (a)抗HCV抗体を含有する疑いのある抗体含有生物学的試料を、請求項 7に記載の免疫原性ポリペプチドを含むプローブ抗原とインキュベートし、抗体 -抗原複合体を形成させる工程;および (b)該プローブ抗原を含有する該抗体-抗原複合体を検出する工程; を包含する、方法。
