Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a coffin for burying free from fear of environmental pollution by forming a container body and a lid body using a biodegradable resin material while a latch means is formed integrally with the container body and the lid body to decompose them into soil naturally with the passage of time. CONSTITUTION: In a coffin for burying small animals, a container body 1 and a lid body 2 are made of a biodegradable resin material and a latch means 3 is formed integrally with the container body 1 and the lid body 2. The material herein used may be the biodegradable resin material alone. But it is possible to mix it with crushed material produced by crushing the structural body of a plant. The latch means 3 is made up of a latch part 3a formed on the upper outer circumference of the container body 1 and an undercut part 3b formed on the lower inner circumference of the lid body 2 and the lid body 2 is put on the container body 1 to get the undercut part 3b engaged with the latch part 3a and the lid body 2 is fixed. A message space 4 for displaying memories or the like of the pet is formed on the surface of the lid body 2 being lowered by one stage.

2. Description of the Related Art Recently, dogs, cats, small birds, etc. have been kept in a pet boom, but since they are living creatures, they will die at some point, but in some cases they will die of an illness or an accident. Sometimes die. In any case, when the animal that you keep dies, it is common to dig a hole in the ground and bury it as it is.

By the way, the burial is carried out by putting the carcass in a bag or wrapping it in newspaper, but since most of the bag is made of synthetic resin that does not decompose, it remains in the environment as it is buried. It has a problem of causing pollution. Since they are pets kept like family members, it is necessary to bury them carefully and prevent the carcasses from being destroyed by other animals. Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the problems of the above-described conventional techniques, and the purpose thereof is to prevent the carcass from being destroyed by other animals, and to decompose naturally over time. The purpose is to provide a burial casket that does not worry about environmental pollution by returning to the soil.

The technical means taken by the present invention to achieve the above object is to mold a container and a lid by using a biodegradable plastic material and to form the container and the lid. The latching means is integrally formed. The biodegradable plastic is a product name "Matterby", which is a polymer alloy mainly composed of natural raw materials such as starch and vegetable oils and modified polyvinyl alcohol.
(Manufactured by Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.). As the above molding material, only the biodegradable plastic material may be used, but a pulverized product obtained by crushing the plant constituent may be mixed with the biodegradable plastic material. Further, the amount of the pulverized product in that case is selected in the range of 10 to 30% by weight based on the biodegradable plastic material. The shape of the casket including the container and the lid can be appropriately selected, for example, a hexagon, a square such as a quadrangle, or an oval. In addition, a through hole for facilitating the decomposition is opened in the peripheral portion of the lid in which the corpse contained in the container is difficult to see. Further, a message column may be provided on the surface of the lid that closes the upper surface of the container, or a crest or a cross of the house may be attached.

Further, as a means for fixing and locking the lid to the container, a general undercut engagement is used, and particularly for a large size, a hooking portion is provided on the bottom surface of the container and the upper surface of the lid to form a recess. A U-shaped stopper formed of a biodegradable plastic material is fitted and fixed between the latching portion of the container and the latching portion of the lid.

According to the above means, since the casket consisting of the container and the lid is molded from the biodegradable plastic material, when a carcass of a small animal is put in the casket and buried, the casket acts in the natural environment by microorganisms. Is completely decomposed by. When a through hole is formed in the peripheral portion of the lid, soil enters the container through the through hole and the above-described decomposition action is performed from the inside as well to promote decomposition.

The casket for burial of small animals of the present invention has the structure according to claim 1, and when buried in the soil, the casket is completely decomposed by the action of microorganisms in the natural environment and changes to the soil. It is very useful without pollution. And since the shape of the casket is initially maintained, it is possible to prevent the carcass from being destroyed by other animals. Further, when a customary plan is opened on the lid as in claim 2, since soil, water, etc. enter the coffin through the through holes, the disassembling action is also performed from the inside.
Decomposition is accelerated. Further, in the case of the structure described in claim 3, the container and the lid can be firmly bonded to each other, which is suitable for a large size. Further, since the connecting ring for joining the container and the lid is formed integrally with the connecting piece between the container and the lid by the structure according to claim 4, the connecting ring does not become disjointed, and the production management is easy. It is convenient.
