On the other hand, instead of providing the convex portion on the inner peripheral surface of the tank, a large number of solid or hollow thick portions protruding outward may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the inner basket. In this case, the inner basket may be provided with a water passage hole at a thin portion between the thick portions, and the tip of the thick portion may be in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the tank. Further, the convex portion or the thick portion may be formed in a spiral shape from the lower portion to the upper portion in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the tank, and the dehydration opening of the tank may be formed on the side opposite to the rotation direction of the convex portion. It is better to form it at the edge position.

Then, instead of the convex portion of the tank and the thick portion of the inner basket, a mid-frame member may be arranged between the inner basket and the tank. In this case, the mid-bone member may be formed in a spiral shape from the lower part to the upper part in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the tank, and further, the mid-bone member may be formed from the lower part in accordance with the expansion of the gap between the inner basket and the tank. It is advisable to form the upper part so that the wall thickness gradually increases.

Also, in the case where the bulging portion which protrudes outward and is recessed inward is provided in the portion corresponding to each space between the convex portions of the inner basket, dehydration from the inner basket follows the recesses. Therefore, it is possible to improve the dewatering performance by facilitating the dewatering. In addition, when washing, the laundry can be rubbed by the recesses and the adjacent protrusions on the inner surface of the inner basket, which improves the washing performance. You can even do it.

Furthermore, in the case where the convex portion or the thick portion is formed in a spiral shape from the lower part to the upper portion in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the tank, the water discharged from the inner basket at the time of dehydration is formed into the convex portion or the thick part. It can be guided to the upper part along the spiral of the part, and the dehydration performance can be improved. In this case, if the dehydration opening of the tank is formed at the edge of the convex portion on the side opposite to the direction of rotation of the tank, the water guided to the upper part along the spiral of the convex portion is dehydrated as it is. Since it can be smoothly discharged through the opening for use, the dehydration performance can be further improved.

An inner basket 25 is arranged in the tank 15. The inner basket 25 is made of, for example, a metal, and more specifically, is formed by rolling a metal plate such as a stainless steel plate and joining both end edges thereof to form a substantially cylindrical shape having a substantially same diameter from a lower portion to an upper portion. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a large number of water passage holes 26 are formed on the peripheral wall in alignment with the concave portions 17 of the tank 15.

With this structure, the inner basket 25 is further close to the inner peripheral surface of the tank 15, and a gap 27 shown in FIG. 4 exists between the inner peripheral surface of the tank 15 and the inner basket 25. ing. Further, the upper end of the inner basket 25 is provided with the balance ring 28 and the screw 2 at a portion just above the hole 18 of the tank 15.
The bottom end of the tank 15 is fixed to the inner boss 31 formed coaxially with the outer boss 30 fixed to the tank mounting plate 14 at the bottom of the tank 15 by screws 32.

In addition, from the lower end of the inner basket 25 to the drainage hole 19 portion of the tank 15, a bottom cover 33 that covers them from the inside of the tank 15 is fixed to the tank 15 with screws 34. Due to the gap 35 between the bottom cover 33 and the inner bottom surface of the tank 15, a gap 27 between the inner peripheral surface of the tank 15 and the inner basket 25 is communicated with the drain hole 19 of the tank 15. Further, a washing shaft 36 protruding upward from the dehydration shaft 13 is inserted in the center of the inner bottom portion of the tub 15, and an agitator 37 is attached to this by a screw 38.

Now, in the case of the above-mentioned configuration,
Since the hole 18 as the dehydration opening exists only in the upper part of the tub 15, water is stored only in the tub 15 at the time of washing, and the agitator 37 is rotated forward and backward by the washing shaft 36 to perform washing. On the other hand, at the time of dewatering, the tank 15 is rotated by the dewatering shaft 13 to pump water and dewater the holes 18.

However, at the time of the dehydration, the substantially cylindrical inner basket 25 is disposed inside the tank 15 so as to be close to the inner peripheral surface of the tank 15.
5 and the tank 15, an ascending passage (void 27) for water flowing out from the water passage hole 26 of the inner basket 25 is ensured, so that during the spin-drying, the laundry is washed by the centrifugal force to the inner peripheral surface of the inner basket 15. Even when it is pressed against, the laundry can be smoothly dehydrated without being hindered by the laundry and the dehydration efficiency can be improved.

On the other hand, the water entering the space 27 between the inner basket 25 and the tub 15 at the time of washing does not directly function effectively for washing. However, particularly in the case of the above configuration, a large number of convex portions 16 are provided on the inner peripheral surface portion of the tank 15 facing the void 27, whereby the volume of the void 27 is reduced while securing a pumping passage for dehydration. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the amount of water that enters into the washing machine by that amount. Thus, the water saving type tank 15 is provided and the pumping passage at the time of dehydration is secured in the inner peripheral portion of the tank 15. You can save water. In addition, since it is possible to achieve sufficient water saving in this way, it is possible to reduce the time required for water supply, the time required for drainage, etc.
The time required to complete the operation can be shortened.

In contrast to the above, FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, in which the convex portion 39 of the tank 15 is replaced by the convex portion 16 described above.
The one having a larger protruding size is shown in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inner basket 25, and by doing so, the volume of the gap 27 between the inner basket 25 and the tank 15 is further reduced. Therefore, it is possible to save more water than the above. Further, in this case, since the inner basket 25 can be supported by the convex portion 39 that is in contact with the outer peripheral surface thereof, the strength of the inner basket 25 can be increased, and the dewatering rotation speed can be increased accordingly.
