[Problems to be Solved by Conventional Techniques and Inventions] Recently, there is a can using a thin tin-plated steel plate for a can, which is not coated with a white coat and is printed with a clear ink for the purpose of designing or reducing the can manufacturing cost. It has increased. In such a can, the surface texture of the thin tin-plated steel sheet greatly affects the surface appearance after printing, and if the surface texture is not appropriate, the appearance deteriorates. In other words, the brightness of the surface after printing is inferior, the image is deteriorated, and the product sales are adversely affected.

[Means for Solving the Problem] The feature of the present invention is that the surface roughness is 0.1 to 0.5 Raμm.
Free Sn0.2~1.2g / m 2 on the steel sheet surface, the metal chromium 5 to 25 mg / m 2 as an upper layer, further the metal chromium layer to hydrated chromium oxide 3 to 20 mg / m 2 (as amount of chromium) product Excuse me,
It is a thin tin-plated steel sheet with excellent appearance after printing.

Among thin tin-plated steel sheets, those mainly based on seam-welded cans require a certain amount or more of unalloyed metal tin (hereinafter referred to as free Sn) from the viewpoint of ensuring weldability. Such a thin tin-plated steel sheet can exhibit sufficient practical performance with or without reflow treatment, but the one subjected to reflow treatment eliminates fine pores in the deposited tin crystal and contributes to corrosion resistance. Iron-tin alloys can be produced, and the overall corrosion resistance tends to be slightly superior. Therefore, although the present invention is intended for the thin tin-plated steel sheet that has been subjected to the reflow treatment, it can be applied to those that are not subjected to the reflow treatment.

Free Sn 0.2-1.2 g / m 2 generated on the surface of the steel sheet can improve the brightness after printing. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, in the free Sn in this range, as will be described later, it is possible to leave scratch marks in the steel plate surface roughness range and prevent the surface from being mirror-finished, so that the L value (in the Hunter color system) In the present invention, the L value means the L value due to the diffuse reflection light, and the brightness can be improved.

In the study by the present inventors, the brightness by visual observation had a good correspondence with the L value by diffused reflection light (excluding specular reflection), so this was used as an index of brightness. Specifically, 30 mg / dm 2 of yellow clear ink was printed and then JIS Z872
The L value is obtained by measuring the received light and measuring the color by the 45 ° -0 ° method specified in 2.

If the free Sn exceeds 1.2 g / m 2 , the surface becomes almost mirror-like and the L value due to diffuse reflected light is lowered, and the appearance becomes dark, which is not preferable.

On the other hand, if the free Sn is less than 0.2 g / m 2 , the seam weldability, which is the most important property as a material for welding cans, is deteriorated, which is not preferable.

Next, as shown in Fig. 2, in the surface roughness range of 0.1 to 0.5 Raμm, the mirror surface can be prevented by the free Sn and the roughness is 0.5R.
If it exceeds a μm, the coating of the base steel sheet with the Sn plating layer becomes insufficient especially after the reflow treatment, and the corrosion resistance deteriorates, which is not preferable. Further, when the roughness is less than 0.1 Raμm, the surface easily becomes a mirror surface, which is not preferable.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the amount of metallic chromium formed on the upper layer of free Sn is in the range of 5 to 25 mg / m 2 , and the function as chromium plating such as corrosion resistance can be exhibited without impairing the brightness.

Furthermore, in order to improve the corrosion resistance and the like on the metallic chromium layer, 3-20 mg / m 2 (as Cr content) of hydrated chromium oxide is produced.

In this way, the surface roughness of the steel sheet is 0.1 to 0.5 Raμm, free Sn 0.2 to 1.2 g / m 2 is generated in the upper layer to be mirror-finished, and metallic chromium 5 to 25 mg / m 2 is generated in the upper layer to form metallic chromium. A function such as corrosion resistance as plating is imparted, and 5-20 mg / m 2 of hydrated chromium oxide is further formed on the upper layer to further improve the corrosion resistance.
