Description
Claims (9)
- 1.電流がその構造(10;20)を通して曲がりくねった経路(17;27) に沿って流れ得るように、スロット(13,14;23,24)および/または 電気的絶縁層によって電気的に分割される、導電性材料のハニカム状の構造(1 0;20)であって、異なった比電気抵抗を有する異なった材料(M1、M2) の領域(18、48;28、58)を含むことを特徴とする、ハニカム状の構造 。
- 2.ハニカム状の構造(10;20)は、金属パウダーまたは金属およびセラミ ックパウダーの混合物の押出形成された構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1 に記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 3.ハニカム状の構造(10;20)は、触媒活性材料、特に自動車に関する電 気的に加熱可能な触媒コンバータのための、キャリヤ本体であることを特徴とす る、請求項1または2に記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 4.電流(17;27)がほぼ曲がりくねった態様で構造を流れるように、互い におよそ平行であるがずらされた複数のスロット(13、14;23、24)に よって、ハニカム状の構成(10;20)が分割されることを特徴とする、請求 項1、2または3に記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 5.スロット(13、14;23、24)はハニカム状の構造の内部に端部(1 9;29)を有し、ハニカム状の構造(10;20)は少なくともスロット(1 3、14;23、24)の端部(19;29)の領域(18;28)に、他の領 域(48;58)より高い比抵抗を有する材料(M1)を含むことを特徴とする 、請求項4に記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 6.ハニカム状の構造は、およそ軸方向に延びるスロット(13、14;23、 24)を有する円筒形(20)または長円一円筒形(10)の構造であって、ス ロットの各々は、半径に対しておよそ平行にずらされ、かつ外側からハニカム状 の構造(10;20)の内部の一方端(19;29)まで延び、かつ少なくとも スロット(13、14;23、24)のすべての端部(19;29)を含むその 内部の断面領域(18;28)で、ハニカム状の構造(10;20)は、その外 側の断面領域(48;58)よりも高い比電気抵抗を有する材料(M2)を含む ことを特徴とする、請求項4または5に記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 7.ハニカム状の構造(10;20)は0.0l〜1Ωの電気的全抵抗を有する ことを特徴とする、前掲の請求項のうちの1つに記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 8.より高い比電気抵抗を有する領域(18;28)は、より低い比電気抵抗を 有する領域(48;58)の少なくともおよそ2倍の比電気抵抗を有することを 特徴とする、前掲の請求項のうちの1つに記載のハニカム状の構造。
- 9.a)金属パウダーまたは金属およびセラミックパウダーの混合物の2つの異 なった成分(M1、M2)が押出機(30)に与えられるステップ、特に1つは 内部領域(32)におよび1つは内部領域(32)のまわりの外部領域(31) に与えられるステップと、b)異なった成分(M1、M2)が押出されてモノリ シックなハニカム状の構造(10;20)を作るステップと、 c)押出成形されたハニカム状構造(10;20)が焼成されまたは焼結され、 もしくはそれぞれの領域ごとに選択的に違えて物理化学的に処理されるステップ と、d)押出ハニカム状構造(10;20)にオフセットスロット(13、14 ;23、24)を設けるステップとを含む、前掲請求項のうちの1つに従った、 異なる比電気抵抗の領域(18;48、28、58)を有するハニカム状の構造 を生産するための方法。
