Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a mattress especially for medical use with the good cushionability proper hardness and of less weakness and having the function capable of properly tossing about in a bed. CONSTITUTION:Plural groove parts 4 are formed vertically on both sides of the cushion member. In the mattress, two or more fillings on both sides and about 1/8 to 1/3 apart from both ends in the horizontal direction are formed at the proper intervals so that the back groove part is placed opposite to the surface or the position opposite to the surface is nearly at the center.

2. Description of the Related Art The functionality of a bed to be used is extremely important when medical treatment is required for a long period of time, for example at home or in a hospital. That is, it is necessary to have appropriate compression hardness and cushioning property with little settling, as well as appropriate breathability and heat retention. In terms of functionality, most of them are constructed with floorboard undulations to facilitate daily wake-up and allow the patient to take a comfortable posture during meals and the like, and the mattress bends following the undulations of the floorboard. Has been proposed (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-3894).

Conventionally well-known mattresses include a cushion material made of a plastic structure such as a plastic foam such as polyurethane foam or a thick non-woven fabric, or a mattress containing a spring. However,
Plastic foams such as polyurethane foams are generally too soft or lack breathability and are not comfortable for long-term care recipients. On the other hand, the invention described in JP-A-5-3894, in which a cushion material made of a fibrous structure such as a non-woven fabric is used as a padding and a large number of grooves are formed in the lateral direction, is a gatch function capable of following the bending of the body. Although it is a Gatch bed with a function, it does not have the function of rolling over. In addition, a mattress including a spring is extremely difficult to manufacture in order to have a gatch function or a turning function, because the spring must be divided and the side material must be sewn to have these functions.

Means for Solving the Problems The above-mentioned object is to form a plurality of longitudinal groove portions on the front and back sides of a non-woven cushion material, and the back groove portion is located at a position opposite to the front surface or relative to the front surface. Achieved by a mattress characterized by using paddings that are formed at two or more on each of the left and right sides so that the positions to be formed are approximately in the middle and at a distance of 1/8 to 1/3 from both ends in the lateral direction. The non-woven fabric applied to the present invention is a natural fiber,
It is made of inorganic fibers, recycled fibers or synthetic fibers, but is preferably a non-woven fabric in which fibers mainly composed of synthetic fibers such as polyester fibers and polyolefin fibers are entangled. The fibers constituting the non-woven fabric used in the present invention have a fineness of 2 to 150 denier and a fiber length of 20 to 10 because they have appropriate hardness and cushioning properties and are excellent in durability.
2 mm polyester staple fibers are preferred. If the fineness is too small, the bulk cannot be obtained and the cushioning property is poor, and if the fineness is too large, the flexibility is poor.

The non-woven cushion material according to the present invention is preferably prepared by appropriately mixing known core-sheath type composite binder fibers such as polyester, nylon, polypropylene, polyethylene, etc., with a web through a normal card by a cross layer method or an air ray method. None, made of non-woven fabric entangled by means such as needle punching or heat fusion. Above all, fineness 2 to 20 denier, fiber length 30 to 76
mm high-melting point polyester short fibers and polyester short fibers having a melting point of 50 ° C. or more lower than the polyester short fibers, the short fibers are three-dimensionally entangled irregularly, and at least a part of the entangled portion has a low melting point. Most preferably, the polyester non-woven fabric is integrally fixed by the joining points formed by melting the polyester short fibers and has a density of 0.005 to 0.15 g / cm 3 .

In the non-woven cushion material according to the present invention, a plurality of groove portions are formed at least in the vertical direction on both front and back surfaces. Two or more back groove portions are provided at a position facing the front surface in the same number as the front surface or at a distance such that the position facing the front surface is approximately in the middle, and 1/8 to 1/1 from the left and right ends in the lateral direction. At least one is formed at each of the three distances.

As a method of processing such a groove portion, a method of thermoforming and integral molding is preferable because it does not increase the number of processing steps and does not cut the constituent fibers and does not impair durability.
The number of grooves when processing the grooves by thermoforming depends on the width and depth of the grooves or the processing temperature, but since the grooves are harder than the peripheral parts, the table shows one or two on the left and right respectively. It is preferable to stop. On the other hand, on the back side, it is better to form the same number of grooves at the positions facing the front grooves than to place two or more grooves on the left and right so that the positions facing the front grooves are approximately in the middle. It is preferable because it further improves the flexibility, the function of turning over so that a patient under long-term medical treatment does not have a bed sore, and the posture changing property for changing clothes or changing sheets.

The depth and interval of the groove are not particularly limited, and may be appropriately set according to the thickness of the non-woven cushion material and the required flexibility. For example, 100m thick
If it is m, the depth is preferably about 15 to 35 mm and the interval is preferably about 40 to 70 mm. Moreover, it is preferable that the width of the upper part of the groove is about 20 to 40 mm so as to reduce the unevenness of the mat surface.

The vertical groove is 1 / from both ends in the horizontal direction.
It is necessary to form left and right at a distance of 8 to 1/3, but if it is too close to the edge it will not be able to exert an effect on turning over and body position change, while if it is too close to the center part it will give a feeling at bedtime. It becomes defective.

Furthermore, it is preferable to form a plurality of groove portions in the lateral direction on the front and back of the mattress, since it is possible to impart flexibility not only in the longitudinal direction but also in the lateral direction.

Example 1 High melting point polyester short fibers (fineness: 13 denier, length: 5)
1 mm) and low-melting point polyester short fibers (fineness 3 denier, length 51 mm) were mixed at a ratio of 80:20, and after opening, carded into a thin sheet to form a web laminated by the cross wrapper method. Heat-treated, further laminated, sandwiched from above and below by metal plates having plate-like projections projecting in the vertical and horizontal directions at predetermined intervals, and heat-pressed with steam, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The filling used for the mattress of the present invention was obtained. When sandwiched between the above-mentioned metal plates, the plate-like projections protruding from the metal plate were set to alternate with each other.
