Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the metallic luster of a metallic material and to enhance the adhesion to a coating film by forming an acutely protruding surface state on the surface of the metallic material and flattening only the tips of the protrusions. CONSTITUTION:Amorphous shot material such as SiC is jetted on the surface of a metallic material to form an acutely protruding surface state and only the tips of the acute protrusions are flattened by jetting spherical shot material such as glass beads. The metallic luster of the metallic material is maintained, the adhesion to a coating film is enhanced and a smooth surface of a coating film is formed even in the case of a thin film.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, chemical conversion treatments such as etching and oxide film formation and physical treatments such as sandblasting have been used as pre-coating treatment methods for forming coating films on metal materials. When it is desired to maintain the metallic luster, it is common to remove stains such as degreasing with trichloroethane or cleaning with ultrasonic waves.Rarely, in the case of metallic materials such as copper, chemical conversion is performed to remove the oxide film. Processing is taking place.

However, etching,
When metal materials are subjected to chemical treatment such as oxide film formation or physical treatment such as sandblasting, not only the gloss of the metal is significantly impaired, but in the case of chemical conversion treatment, the material of the object to be treated and the heat resistance of the formed chemical coating Due to the above restrictions and the problems of working environment maintenance measures and wastewater treatment that occur in the chemical conversion treatment process, and in the case of physical treatment, the treated surface of the object to be treated is significantly roughened, so a coating film of several tens of μm should be applied on top of it. When formed, there is a problem that the surface of the coating film cannot be formed due to the unevenness of the object to be treated. In addition, the problem that the metallic luster can be retained but sufficient adhesion with the coating film cannot be obtained only by removing stains such as degreasing with trichloroethane or cleaning with ultrasonic waves without roughening the base. There is. Therefore, there has been a demand for a pretreatment method for coating which retains metallic luster, has good adhesion to a coating film, and can obtain a smooth coating film surface even with a thin film. The present invention is to solve the above conventional problems, to provide a coating pretreatment method that does not impair the metallic luster and improves the adhesion with a coating film, and that can obtain a smooth coating film surface even in a thin film. The purpose is.

A method such as projecting an irregularly shaped shot material onto the surface of the metal material is also acceptable. After forming a sharp projection state on the surface of the metal material, the method of flattening only the sharp projection-shaped tip is spherical. The projection material may be projected only on the tip of a sharp projection, or compression, cutting, and polishing may be used.

In the present invention, a sharp projection-like surface state is formed on the surface of a metal material by an irregular projection material, and then a spherical projection material is projected only on the sharp projection-like tip, or compressed or cut. By flattening only the protruding tips by polishing, the metallic luster is maintained, the adhesion to the coating film is improved, and a smooth coating film surface can be obtained even with a thin film. FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a metallic material which has been subjected to the surface treatment of the present invention as seen from directly above, and FIG. 2 is a cross section of a metallic material whose surface is treated with a sharp projection by an irregular projection material. FIG. Further, FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a cross section of the sharp projection-shaped tip of FIG. 2 which is flattened. As is clear from FIG. 1, when viewed from directly above, it is almost flat,
Therefore, it is possible to form a smooth coating film surface that exhibits metallic luster and is a thin film. As is apparent from FIG. 3, the coating film and the base material have a shape capable of forming an anchor effect when viewed in cross section. Therefore, the adhesiveness with the coating film is also excellent. As described above, the present invention can exhibit the functions of maintaining the metallic luster, improving the adhesion to the coating film, and obtaining a smooth coating film surface even with a thin film. The metal material for which the present invention can exert the effect is not particularly limited in material and shape, and is applicable to all metal materials. The coating film applicable to the present invention is not particularly limited, but a transparent coating film is preferable in the sense that the characteristic that metal luster can be retained is utilized, and a substrate having a low viscosity before forming the coating film is more preferable as a base material. The adhesion of can be demonstrated more. In addition, when plating is performed on the surface-treated metal material of the present invention, the fashionability is improved as compared with the case where the untreated metal material is plated. Further, even if the present invention is applied to a metal material, non-treated metal material is given a more fashionable property, so that there is no problem even if it is used without forming a coating film. For example, when stainless steel is subjected to the treatment of the present invention and heated to about 350 ° C., it has a gold tone, and when aluminum is subjected to the treatment of the present invention, it has a calm silver tone.

[Table 2] After degreasing metal materials of aluminum (Al100), stainless steel (SUS304) and iron (SS41) with trichloroethane, in addition to the degreasing treatment with the conditions shown in Table 1 and Table 2 and the degreasing treatment with trichloroethane, Various samples were prepared by spray-coating a transparent coating of polyether sulfone and baking at 320 ° C. for 15 minutes to form a film. The film thickness of the polyether sulfone was 8 to 12 μm. The prepared various samples were immersed in hot water of 95 ° C. or higher, and the appearance was inspected every 24 hours. The results are shown in Table 3. The appearance of the present invention and that after blasting are also shown in Table 3.

[Table 3] As is clear from Table 3, the present invention retains metallic luster and has good adhesion to the coating film. On the other hand, sandblasting has good adhesion to the coating film, but has no metallic luster, and degreasing of trichloroethane retains metallic luster but does not have good adhesion to the coating film. From the above results, it became clear that the present invention is effective as a pretreatment method for coating, which does not impair the metallic luster and is excellent in adhesion to the coating film.
