の劣化により雨水等の浸入が起こると、ジョグル部と補
助ルーフとの結合部における間隙からの上記雨水等の浸
入が発生し、錆や車室内への漏水が生ずるものである。
さらに、ジョグル部と補助ルーフとの結合部における間
隙においては鋼板が密集するから、路面や内燃機関から
の振動によって共振がおこり低周波音が発生することと
なる。また、後付けによりサンルーフを取り付けようと
すると、補助ルーフが障害となって後付けが不可能とな
り、又は、後付けが出来たとしても大幅な改造が必要と
なりコストが増大するおそれがある。さらにジョグル部
と補助ルーフとの結合では、スポット溶接が用いられる
が、ルーフ上面から行なうと、ルーフ上面が平滑になつ
ているのでスポット溶接による引けが発生し、外観的品
質が低下する上、補助ルーフとサイドレールとの溶接に
おいてはコスト自体も著しく高価となるものである。一
方、実開昭57−109073号の場合、サイドレールの鋼性に
対してルーフボウの鋼性が低くなるので、ルーフボウと
ルーフとの間に引張力が働き歪み等が発生し、あるい
は、サイドレールに設ける凹部に急激な荷重が加わる
と、応力集中のためサイドレールが破損することとな
り、車室内の乗員に対して危険を及ぼすおそれがあるも
のである。そこで、この考案は上記従来のものの持つ欠
点を改善するものであり、構造を強化すると共に、その
作業性を向上させようとするものである。
