Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the storage of a water barrier sheet and the handling of the water barrier sheet at the time of conveyance and lay the water barrier sheet positively on the water bottom. CONSTITUTION:Plural water barrier sheet pieces 1a, 1b, 1c are jointed to one another, and plural air floats 3 formed of sheet material and plural floats 4 unable to eliminate buoyancy are fitted at appropriate spaces apart to the surface of the water barrier sheet pieces to form a wide water barrier sheet 1. After this water barrier sheet 1 is delivered onto the water surface to float, air in the air floats 3 is removed. The floats 4 are then detached to let the water barrier sheet 1 sink so as to be laid on the water bottom.

[0003] In such a landfill, there is a concern that harmful components contained in the input soil, waste, etc. may be dissolved in water and may permeate the revetment and the bottom of the water to flow out to the surrounding sea area and water area, thus causing environmental pollution. It is not preferable because it occurs.

Therefore, in order to prevent outflow of harmful components to the surroundings, it is practiced to lay a water-blocking sheet on the slope of the seawall and the water bottom.

Therefore, for example, a plurality of water-impermeable sheet pieces to which buoyancy has been imparted are floated at predetermined positions on the water surface in a landfill, and their side edges are joined to each other to form a wide water-impermeable sheet. The method of removing the buoyancy, setting the impermeable sheet and laying it on the water bottom and the slope of the revetment,
For example, it is presented in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-293416.

In this conventionally known method of laying a water-impermeable sheet, a water-impermeable sheet is provided with a float by means of an air float, and the air-flood is pulled out to the surface of the water while being filled with air, and then expanded. The air is evacuated and settled and laid on the bottom of the water.

Therefore, unlike the method of laying a water-blocking sheet disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 1-40170, it is not necessary to remove the float when the water-blocking sheet is settled, so that the laying work is easy. There is an advantage.

However, a large buoyancy is required to float the water-impervious sheet on the water surface.
According to the method of laying the water-blocking sheet disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 16, it is necessary to provide a large amount of air slag on the surface of the water-blocking sheet, which is extremely difficult to handle including storage and transportation of the water-blocking sheet. There is a problem.

Further, if there is a pinhole or a damaged portion in the air trap, when it spreads to the surface of the water, those portions sink and the laying work cannot be performed reliably, and furthermore, the waterproof sheet floats after the laying. There is also a problem that it is remarkable, especially when air remains in the air trap.

The first problem to be solved by the present invention is, according to the conventionally known method of laying a waterproof sheet using an air float, including storage and transportation of the waterproof sheet. It is extremely difficult to handle, and if there are pinholes or damaged points on the air float, when they expand to the water surface, those parts will sink and it will not be possible to perform reliable laying work. The second problem to be solved by the invention is that the impermeable sheet sometimes floats up after installation.

2. A plurality of water impermeable sheet pieces are joined to each other, and a plurality of air floats formed of a sheet material on their surfaces and a plurality of floats whose buoyancy cannot be removed are provided at appropriate intervals. After feeding and floating the wide impermeable sheet formed on the water surface, the air in the air float is removed and the float is detached to settle the impermeable sheet to lay on the bottom of the water, etc. A method of laying a water-impervious sheet, characterized by filling a cement mortar slurry into an air float from which air has been removed, and allowing the slurry to set.
