For example, as shown in FIG. 8, a mudguard 9 attached to the rear of a vehicle wheel (see FIG. 6 of the embodiment) includes a main body 91, a lower piece 92 provided below the main body 91, and a mounting portion 93 branched between the two. Consists of. Here, the main body 91 and the mounting portion 93 are the mounting holes 91 and 931 and the bolt (not shown).
Is the part that is fixed to the vehicle body. On the other hand, the lower piece 92
Is the part that hangs down to prevent mud. The lower piece 92 needs to be configured to be easily elastically deformed when this portion comes into contact with a partition block or the like of a parking lot.

However, according to the conventional sandwich molding method, as shown in FIG. 8, the main body 91 and the mounting portion 93 can form a hard portion in which the core layer 8 is enclosed in the skin layer 7. However, the core layer 8 is also included in the lower piece 92 to form a hard portion. Therefore, the lower piece 92 cannot be made relatively soft.

The present invention has a sandwich structure having a main body, a hard portion and a soft portion branched from the main body, and the main body and the hard portion have a hard core layer and a soft skin layer coated on the surface of the core layer. On the other hand, when molding a synthetic resin sandwich molded product composed of the same material as the skin layer, the soft part has a soft part from the main body forming part to the soft part forming part in the cavity having the shape of the molded product. In the vicinity of the branch with the partial forming part, a molding die having a flow resistance part for suppressing the inflow of the skin layer material in the hard part forming part is used, and the skin layer material is introduced into the cavity through the main part forming part. A method for forming a sandwich molded article is characterized by injecting and then injecting a core layer material into the skin layer material.

It is preferable that the flow resistance portion is provided in the vicinity of the inlet in the hard portion forming portion, behind the main portion forming portion and the hard portion forming portion. The flow resistance portion is provided so as to project inward of the hard portion forming portion (see FIG. 1).
Further, the flow resistance portion may be movable (see FIG. 7) in addition to being fixedly provided on the inner wall of the molding die (see FIG. 1). Further, the flow resistance portion is provided so that the skin layer material flowing from the main body first flows into the soft portion forming portion rather than the hard portion forming portion. More specifically, for example, after the soft portion forming portion is occupied by the skin layer material, the skin layer material begins to cross the flow resistance portion and enter the hard portion forming portion.

Further, in the present invention, the main body forming portion means a portion provided with a gate for injecting the core layer material and the skin layer material. Therefore, the main body of the molded product forms a sandwich structure including a core layer and a skin layer, like the hard portion.

In the present invention, first, the skin layer material is injected from the gate into the main body forming portion. The injected skin layer material is pushed forward while filling the inside of the main body forming portion, and reaches the branch point between the hard portion forming portion and the soft portion forming portion. Then, by further injection of the skin layer material, the skin layer material tries to enter both the hard portion forming portion and the soft portion forming portion, but since the hard portion forming portion has the flow resistance portion, the skin layer material is First, enter the soft part forming part.

Then, the skin layer material is injected into the cavity of the molding die in a total amount of the total volume of the soft portion and the skin layer volume of the main body and the hard portion. At this time, the skin layer material, for example, is filled in the soft portion forming portion by about 70%, while the hard portion forming portion hardly contains the flow resistance portion because of the resistance of the flow resistance portion.

After that, the core layer material is injected into the skin layer material in the main body forming portion. By the injection of the core layer material, the skin layer material further advances forward, and first, the inside of the soft portion forming portion is completely filled with the skin layer material. After that, the remaining skin layer material flows over the flow resistance portion and flows into the hard portion forming portion.

Further, the core layer material that has advanced inside the skin layer material of the main body forming portion is not filled in the soft portion forming portion because it is already filled with the soft resin, and the core layer material is not included in the flow resistance portion. Then, at the time of this injection, the skin layer material 2 is pushed forward in the main body forming portion 101. At this time, the skin layer material 2 in the portion in contact with the cavity wall is solidified to form a skin layer. When the tip of the skin layer material 2 reaches the branch point between the mounting portion forming portion 103 and the lower piece 102, there is the flow resistance portion 105 on the mounting portion forming portion 103 side.
The skin layer material 2 flows into the lower piece forming portion 102 side, which has less flow resistance. And, it does not enter the mounting portion forming portion 103 side.

After the injection of the skin material 2 as described above, the core layer material 3 is injected from the gate 18 into the skin layer material 2 of the main body forming portion 101 as shown in FIG. By this injection, the skin layer material 2 is pushed further forward, and the skin layer material 2 first fills the inside of the lower piece forming portion 102 having low flow resistance. Then, by further injection of the core layer material 3, the skin layer material 2 that has not completely entered the lower piece formation portion 102 is pushed into the attachment portion formation portion 103 beyond the flow resistance portion 105.

1. A sandwich structure having a main body and a hard portion and a soft portion branched from the main body, wherein the main body and the hard portion have a hard core layer and a soft skin layer coated on the surface of the core layer. On the other hand, when molding a synthetic resin sandwich molded product composed of the same material as the skin layer, the soft part is formed from the main body forming part to the hard part forming part in the cavity having the shape of the molded product. In the vicinity of the branch with the soft part forming part, a mold having a flow resistance part for suppressing the inflow of the skin layer material in the hard part forming part is used, and the skin layer material is passed through the main part forming part in the cavity. A method for forming a sandwich molded article, which comprises injecting a core material and then injecting a core layer material into the skin layer material.
