Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】折り畳み構造を持つ携帯電話機を折り畳んだ特
に表示器が見えなくなる不都合を解決する。 【構成】折り畳んだ状態でも見える第２の表示器１１を
アンテナ３のある面に設け、折り畳んだ状態では表示器
１１のみに電力及びデータの供給を行う選択回路１０を
有している。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は携帯電話機に関し、特に
表示器を有し、かつ折り畳み構造を有する携帯電話機に
関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、この種の携帯電話機は、一つの表
示器しか備えておらず、且つ通常この表示器は、折り畳
み構造を閉じた場合に場合に外部から見えなくなる位置
に取付けられている。
【０００３】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】この従来の携帯電話機
は、折り畳み構造が閉じられた場合に表示器が見えない
位置に取付けられているので、一般に着信の待受りで折
り畳み状態で使用されていると、電界強度表示，電池電
圧表示及び着信表示等の表示内容が確認されないという
問題点がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明の携帯電話機は、
スピーカを有する第１の筺体と、マイクロホンを有する
第２の筺体とがヒンジ部で互いに折り畳み可能な折り畳
み構造を持つ携帯電話機において、前記折り畳み構造が
閉じた状態では外部から見えなくなる位置にある前記第
１の表示器と、前記折り畳み構造を閉じた状態でも外部
から見える位置にある第２の表示器と有し、又、前記折
り畳み構造を開いた第１の表示器に、また閉じた状態で
は前記第２の表示器に電源を供給する電源供給切換手段
を有し、更に前記第２の表示器は前記折り畳み構造を閉
じた時にアンテナが取り付けられている面と同一の面に
取付けられている。

【実施例】次に、本発明について図面を参照して説明す
る。
【０００６】図１は本発明の一実施例を示すブロック
図、図２は本実施例の使用状態の一例を示す模式図であ
る。
【０００７】図１において、本実施例の携帯電話機１は
第１の筺体１ａと、第２の筺体１ｂとがヒンジ部２で互
いに折り畳み可能な折り畳み構造を有して成り、第１の
筺体１ａはアンテナ３を接続している無線部４と、通信
及び携帯電話機１の状態を表示する表示器８と、アンテ
ナ３がある位置の面にある表示器１１と、表示器８，１
１に電力の供給及び文字データを出力する表示器ドライ
バ９と、表示器ドライバ９から表示器８か又は１１へ電
力及び文字データの出力切換を行う選択回路１０と、選
択回路１０へ切換えの信号を送るリードスイッチ１２
と、スピーカ５とを有し、第２の筺体１ｂは携帯電話機
１全体を制御する制御部５と、全体へ電力を供給する電
池７と、キー操作部６と、リードスイッチ１２をオンオ
フさせる磁石１３と、マイクロホン１４とを有して構成
している。
【０００８】尚、表示器８は、第１，第２の筺体１ａ，
１ｂが互いに開いた状態でスピーカ１５，リードスイッ
チ１２がある正面に取付けられている。
【０００９】第１の筺体１ａと、第２の筺体１ｂとが、
ヒンジ部２を中心にして互いに折り畳まれると、表示器
８は見えなくなり、表示器１１のみが見える状態とな
る。
【００１０】又、この折り畳まれた状態では磁石１３が
リードスイッチ１２に作用し、その結果、選択回路１０
が、表示器ドライバ９からの電力及び文字データを表示
器１１のみに送るよう動作する。その結果、図２に示す
ように折り畳まれた状態も表示器１１によって着信の待
ち受け状態の電界強度，電池電圧等の重要な情報のみの
表示を確認することができる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明は、正面の第
１の表示器以外に折り畳み構造の閉じた状態でも外部か
ら見える第２の表示器を備えることにより、折り畳み構
造の閉じた状態でも確認の必要な情報を第２の表示器で
確認する事ができるので着信時に従来より早く対応する
ことができる効果がある。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 スピーカを有する第１の筺体と、マイク
    ロホンを有する第２の筺体とがヒンジ部で互いに折り畳
    み可能な折り畳み構造を持つ携帯電話機において、前記
    折り畳み構造が閉じた状態では外部から見えなくなる位
    置にある第１の表示器と、前記折り畳み構造を閉じた状
    態でも外部から見える位置にある第２の表示器とを備え
    ることを特徴とする携帯電話機。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記折り畳み構造を開いた前記第１の表
    示器に、また閉じた状態では前記第２の表示器に電源を
    供給する電源供給切換手段を有することを特徴とする請
    求項１記載の携帯電話機。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記第２の表示器は前記折り畳み構造を
    閉じた時にアンテナが取り付けられている面と同一の面
    に取付けられていることを特徴とする請求項２記載の携
    帯電話機。
