Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the disassembly and inspection of a shaft seal device without develoing the ordinary pressure and ordinary temperature in a container, by installing an elastic ring for applying, a pressure inside, at a shaft seal part which penetrates through the sealed container, as for the shaft seal device for a pump, etc., driven under vacuum and at high temperature.
