The present invention relates to a fluorine-based lubricant that has excellent lubricity and durability such as adhesion to surfaces that require lubricity. Various lubricants are used in various situations where objects such as glass, metal, plastic, wood, rubber, and leather come into contact with each other to reduce frictional resistance, prevent wear, and improve lubricity. Metal chlorides such as MoS 2 , metal oxides such as Pbo,
Examples include metal soaps and solid lubricants using fluororesins such as polytetrafluoroethylene. The present invention relates to such a solid lubricant, which can be dispersed by kneading into plastic or rubber, or applied and dried on the surface of articles made of various materials such as glass, metal, plastic, etc., and made to adhere. It imparts lubricity to the surface of the article. The fluorine-based lubricant of the present invention not only has excellent lubricity, but also has advantages such as high adhesion to the surface of articles, chemical stability, and non-corrosion. It is not limited to these. Compound A is
For example, it can be manufactured by the following method. The lubricant of the present invention can be prepared by spraying or brushing the surface of an article by dispersing Compound A in water or dispersing or dissolving it in an organic solvent, or by immersing the object in such a dispersion or solution. It can be treated by immersing it in water. When dispersing the lubricant of the present invention in water, nonionic, anionic,
One or a mixture of various surfactants such as cationic or amphoteric surfactants may be used. Examples of organic solvents include alcohols such as ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol, ketones such as acetone and methyl ethyl ketone, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate,
Esters such as isoamyl acetate, ethers such as diethyl ether and dioxane, methyl chloroform, trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene, tetrachlorodifluoroethane, 1,1,2
- One or a mixture of two or more halogenated hydrocarbons such as trichlorotrifluoroethane and metaxylene hexafluoride may be employed. Spray treatment can be performed by adding a propellant such as dichlorodifluoromethane, monofluorotrichloromethane, or dichlorotetrafluoroethane to such a dispersion or solution and filling it into a suitable container. After treatment, it is immediately dried. Can exhibit lubricity. The amount of compound A in the solvent or water is usually 0.01 to 10% by weight, preferably 0.05 to 0.5% by weight. The articles that can be treated with the fluorine-based lubricant of the present invention are not limited at all, and the present invention can be applied to various sliding members such as bearings. In addition to sliding members, for example, recording,
By treating the surface of a magnetic recording tape or magnetic head for recording or measurement purposes, it not only reduces the degree of abrasion of both, but also makes it difficult for undesirable abrasion charging to occur, and the treated tape is less likely to cause tape-to-tape blocking. There are advantages such as In particular, with video tapes, the relative speed between the magnetic head and magnetic tape is about 10 times faster than with recording tapes, etc., and when playing back still images, the high coefficient of friction caused by low-speed contact makes them prone to wear. The lubricant of the invention having excellent lubricity and durability is effective. In the case of vapor-deposited tapes such as cobalt and nickel, the surface is coated with a magnetic coating in which magnetic powder such as γ-Fe 2 O 3 or CrO 2 is dispersed in a binder resin such as polyurethane, polyester, or vinyl acetate copolymer. The lubricant of the present invention may be dispersed in the paint of a tape on which a magnetic layer is formed, or in the protective layer of a tape with a protective layer. Lubricants in magnetic coatings can also help improve the dispersibility of magnetic powders. Examples of the present invention will be described in more detail below. Examples and Comparative Examples A 0.5 wt % isopropyl alcohol solution of the compound shown in Table 1 below was uniformly applied to an aluminum plate whose surface had been thoroughly cleaned, and then dried to form a film of the above compound. The friction coefficient of this plate was measured using a friction coefficient measuring device EFM-4 manufactured by Toyo Saiki Co., Ltd., and the lubricity was evaluated. Furthermore, after being worn 100 times using a Gakushin type abrasion tester, the friction coefficient was measured again using the same measuring device to evaluate lubricity and durability. The results are shown in Table 1.
