Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- 1.リン酸アンモニウムマグネシウムの形態で沈澱させることにより廃水中に含 まれるアンモニウム性窒素を除去する方法であって、マグネシウムイオン源、ホ スフェートイオン源及び酸を含む単一液体反応物を前記廃水に加えることを特徴 とする方法。
- 2.前記反応物のホスフェートイオン/マグネシウムイオンの比が0.5〜1. 5であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 3.ホスフェートイオン/マグネシウムイオンの比が1/1であることを特徴と する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 4.前記反応物が、前記廃水中のアンモニウム性窒素1モル当たり0.8〜2モ ル、好ましくは1.1〜1.5モルのマグネシウム及びホスフェートを含むこと を特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 5.前記マグネシウムイオン源が、酸化マグネシウム、硫酸マグネシウムまたは 塩化マグネシウム、好ましくは酸化マグネシウムである請求項1から4のいずれ か一項に記載の方法。
- 6.前記ホスフェートイオン源が、リン酸またはアルカリ金属もしくはアルカリ 土類金属ホスフェート、好ましくはリン酸である請求項1から5のいずれか一項 に記載の方法。
- 7.前記酸が、塩酸、硫酸、ギ酸または酢酸のような無機または有機の強酸、好 ましくは塩酸である請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 8.pH1〜2を得るのに必要な量の酸を使用することを特徴とする請求項1か ら7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 9.前記反応物を加えた後に、媒質のpHを7より大きい、好ましく9より大き い値に調整することを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 10.pHを9〜11の値に調整することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 11.pHを、水酸化カリウム溶液、水酸化ナトリウム溶液またはこれらの混合 物を用いて調整することを特徴とする請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 12.pHを、工業処理から回収された塩基を予め精製することなく用いて調整 することを特徴とする請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 13.前記廃水が更にホスフェートイオンをも含むことを特徴とする請求項1か ら12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 14.前記廃水が工業、農業または家庭に由来するものであることを特徴とする 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
