することにより、該固着具により前記エンジンの
外壁一部を直接前記クロスパイプに結合固着した
ことを特徴とするものである。

(考案の効果) 以上詳述した如く本考案の自動二輪車における
主にヘツドパイプ及びスイングアーム支持点にか
かる大荷重を、断面形状の長軸が車体上下方向に
向かう左右各1本のメインフレームをヘツドパイ
プとスイングアーム支持部材との間に接続してな
る車体フレームと、該車体フレームの強度部材と
なるエンジンとが一体化された構造部材にて受け
止めるので、従来のような下行管等の補強部材を
格別に設けて補強する必要がなく、車体フレーム
の剛性、特にねじり剛性が向上し、剛性が高く軽
量な二輪車用車体が得られる。また、車体フレー
ム補強用構成部品を節減できるので、部品相互の
固着部が少なくなつて車体フレームの製作工数も
少なく、構成も簡単でコストダウンを図ることが
できる。また、左右各1本のメインフレームを互
いに接続するクロスパイプをエンジンの上方に近
接配置したから、エンジンと車体フレームとが略
一体的になり、全体形状がコンパクトになるのみ
ならず、断面長方形の長軸を車体上下方向に向け
たメインフレームと相俟て軽量・高剛性の車体構
成を得ることができる。更に車体上方からメイン
フレーム相互間へ工具を挿入して固着具を操作す
ることにより、エンジンをクロスパイプに対して
着脱し得るから、車体フレームに対するエンジン
の着脱が容易に行なえる。
