Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop an object article supporting body in opposition to a warehousing/delivery part to enable the warehousing of articles by connecting an endless rotating body to the inward eccentric position of each article supporting body by a connecting member positioned between both supporting devices. CONSTITUTION:A group of article supporting bodies 5 is moved by starting a motor 24 to move a chain 23 through a drive sprocket 31, a power transmitting chain 32, a driven sprocket 28 and sprockets 21, 22 and to transmit this moving force to the article supporting bodies 5 through a connecting member 50. When an object article supporting body 5 supporting roll material is stopped at a warehousing/delivery part 58, the connecting member 50 connecting the article supporting body 5 to a chain 23 decentered inward in relation to the supporting body center 5a is positioned inside a circular guide rail 40, so that the adjacent article supporting bodies 5 can be spaced sufficiently. The expected warehousing/delivery can be thereby performed correctly and smoothly even if making the connecting pitch of the connecting member 50 extremely short.

According to the above-mentioned conventional method, it is necessary to carry out the loading / unloading work without causing the adjacent articles to interfere with each other in the loading / unloading section with a sufficient space between the adjacent pallets. However, as mentioned above, if the center part of each pallet is directly connected to the link pin of the endless chain, the pitch between the pallets suitable for the loading and unloading part appears as it is in the linear path part, and Storage efficiency will be reduced and the overall size will increase.

At this time, the endless rotating body and each article support are connected by a connecting member with respect to an eccentric position inside the center of the support, so that the articles adjacent to each other at the reversing section where the loading / unloading section is formed. A sufficient space can be provided between the supports to carry out the intended warehousing accurately and smoothly, and in the straight part, the article supports can be closely arranged to have a connection pitch that is as short as possible. It can be constructed compactly while improving storage efficiency.

Furthermore, by connecting the endless rotating body and each article support by a connecting member that is movable in the gap between both supporting devices, both supporting devices are arranged without a cutout portion in the transport path direction. Therefore, each article support can be moved with less vibration, and the articles can be always conveyed stably and smoothly.
