Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably execute a coin detection operation with high processing capacity by securely separating coins which are continuously fed one by one so as to fed them to a coin detection part and setting a transportation pitch to be constant in spite of the external diameter size of the coins. CONSTITUTION:The most front coin in the coins which are continuously fed through a first transportation line 60 is abutted on a reference guide surface 63a. Thus, a movement in the direction of travel is once stopped and a front part in the direction of transportation is pushed up by a hammer 78 from the center of the coin in the most front from the coin stopping transportation and it is fed to a second transportation line 61. Thus, the coins can compulsorily be supplied in a next process by matching it to the timing when maximum processing capacity can be fulfilled. Thus, processing time can be shortened. Then, a processing can be realized only by setting the transportation speed of the second transportation line to be the same as that of the first transportation line or slightly raising it.

However, with such a conventional configuration,
When coins stay when moving to the second transport path for some reason, a phenomenon occurs in which a subsequent coin bites under the staying coins, causing an obstacle such as a jam.
It may be carried at the same time, and the inability to conduct a check may occur.

Further, when the smallest outer diameter coin continuously flows, the conveyance pitch fed to the inspection section is clogged because the outer diameter dimension is small, and when the largest outer diameter coin continuously flows. Has a large outer diameter dimension, which causes a problem that the conveyance pitch is widened, and the inspection processing capacity varies, and when processing a plurality of mixed coins of multiple types, there is a problem that the overall processing capacity is reduced. ..

As described above, in the conventional coin processing apparatus, there is a possibility that the coins may be jammed or they may be conveyed at the same time so that the coin cannot be inspected. Moreover, the conveyance pitch varies depending on the outer diameter of the coin. There was a problem that it was not stable and it was not possible to improve the ability to process money.

Further, as a first means, in a coin processing device equipped with a coin conveying means for separating the coins one by one and sending the coins to the coin inspection section in order to determine the type of the coin, the coin conveying means stores the coins. It is formed between mutually opposing surfaces of a first conveyor belt that continuously conveys coins as it is placed on the upper surface and travels, and a buckling prevention presser plate that is provided so as to face the first conveyor belt. The first conveyor path, the second conveyor belt having frictional force and running at the same speed as or faster than the first conveyor belt with the starting end faced near the end of the first conveyor belt, and the coin inspection. A second conveyance path formed between the surfaces of the coins facing each other with a reference base having a coin conveyance reference surface, and the first conveyance path provided near the starting end of the second conveyance path.
Stopper means for temporarily stopping the movement in the advancing direction by abutting the foremost end coin that is continuously conveyed by the conveying path on the reference guide surface, and the foremost end of the coin whose conveyance is stopped by this stopper means. A pushing means for pushing up the front portion in the carrying direction from the center of the coin and sending it to the second carrying belt, and a control means for controlling the operation of the sending means, and of the pressing plate for preventing buckling. The length is extended until the holding plate is hung on the edge of the coin when the minimum outer shape coin hits the reference guide surface.

In the coin processing apparatus of the present invention, the frontmost coin continuously fed through the first conveying path is abutted against the reference guide surface to temporarily stop the movement in the advancing direction and convey the coin. Since the front part of the coin at the front end of the stopped coin is pushed up from the center in the transport direction and fed to the second transport path, the next process is forced to be performed at the timing at which the maximum processing capacity can be exerted. Since it is possible to supply coins, the processing time can be shortened. Further, the second transport path can be processed at the same speed as the first transport path or at a slightly higher speed than that of the first transport path, and the transport mechanism can be simplified. Further, since the coins are stopped once to make a slip in the first transport path, a margin time for aligning the coins in the preceding stroke is generated, and the supply capacity of the aligned coins in the preceding stroke can be improved. ..

The hammer 78 is fixed to the shaft 90a of the rotary solenoid 90, as shown in FIG. Then, when the rotary solenoid 90 is stopped (when it is not thrusting up), the reference guide surface 63a of the stepped flat surface portion 73a of the reference base 73.
The lower end stopper 92 is provided so that the front end portion 78a comes into the hole 91 formed in the vicinity of and at a position slightly lower than the upper surface of the flat surface portion 73a. Further, when the rotary solenoid 90 is in operation (during the push-up operation), the hammer 78
The upper end stopper 93 is arranged so that the front end portion 78a of the above-mentioned item reaches the hammer upper limit position (the position indicated by the chain double-dashed line in FIG. 8) at which the coin C can be sufficiently pressed against the conveyor belt 70.
Since the upper end stopper 93 operates only when the coin C is stopped at the reference guide surface 63a, it may be omitted in some cases.

As a result, as shown in FIG.
The leading end portion 78a of 8 lifts the leading end portion of the coin Ca on the carrying side, and the coin Ca is strongly pressed against the carrying belt 70.
At this time, the pressing force of the pinch roller 80 on the conveyor belt 70 also helps, and the surface frictional force of the conveyor belt 70 acts on the entire surface of the coin Ca, and the coin Ca is conveyed at a speed of V2.

Then, as shown in FIG. 10, the reference base 7
When the coin Ca moves to such a position as to be sandwiched between the coins 3, it is stably sandwiched by the reference base 73 and the conveyor belt 70, and is sent to the inspecting section 15 in the next step at the speed of V2. The timing for lowering the hammer 78 is until the coin Ca is sandwiched between the reference bases 73, and the subsequent coin Cb slipping on the conveyor belt 40 is the coin Ca.

As described above, the coin processing device of the present invention temporarily moves in the traveling direction by abutting the foremost end coin fed continuously through the first transport path against the reference guide surface. Is stopped, and the front part of the coin at the foremost end of the coin that has stopped being conveyed is pushed up to the front part in the conveying direction to be sent to the second conveying path. According to the above, since the coins can be forcibly supplied, the processing time can be shortened. Further, the second transport path can be processed at the same speed as the first transport path or at a slightly higher speed than that of the first transport path, and the transport mechanism can be simplified.

2. A coin processing device comprising coin transporting means for separating coins one by one to feed the coins to a coin inspection section to determine the type of coins, wherein the coin transporting means places coins on an upper surface thereof while traveling. A first conveyor belt that continuously conveys coins and a first conveyor path that is formed between the surfaces of the first conveyor belt and the buckling prevention presser plate that is provided to face the first conveyor belt. The first end of the first conveyor belt is exposed near the end of the first conveyor belt.
A second conveyor belt having a frictional force that travels at the same speed as or a higher speed than the second conveyor belt, and a second base formed between the mutually opposing surfaces of the reference base having the coin reference surface of the coin inspection section. And the frontmost coin provided continuously in the vicinity of the starting end of the second conveying path and continuously conveyed by the first conveying path to the reference guide surface to move in the traveling direction. Means for stopping the feeding, feeding means for pushing up the front portion in the feeding direction from the center of the coin at the foremost end of the coin whose feeding is stopped by the stopper means, and feeding it to the second feeding belt, and this feeding means And a control means for controlling the operation of, and extending the length of the buckling prevention presser plate until the presser plate hangs on the coin edge portion when the minimum outer shape coin hits the reference guide surface.
