なすものであつた。而して、上記反力片の横断
面、つまりデイスクの弦に沿つた反力片の横断面
は均一であつたので、ブレーキ作動時のパツドに
かかる面圧は、その中央部で低く周辺部で高くな
つて、パツドが凸摩耗し、寿命が低下するととも
に、消費液量が増加して、ペタルストロークが増
大するという問題点があつた。

たいで一方に作動部4、他方に反作動部5を一体
的に形成されたキヤリパ2の作動部4には、シリ
ンダ6が形成され、反作動部5には複数の反力片
5a,5cが形成されている。キヤリパ2の作動
部4とデイスク1の間、反作動部5とデイスク1
の間にはそれぞれパツド8,9が周知のように配
置されている。作動部4に形成されたシリンダ6
内にはピストン10が摺動可能に設けられ、マス
タシリンダ(図示せず)からホース(図示せず)
を介してシリンダ6内に供給される液圧によりピ
ストン10が第1図で右方へ前進する。前進する
ピストン10により、デイスク1側のライニング
8aとピストン10側の裏金8bを接合したパツ
ド8が加圧され前進し、回転するデイスク1と摩
擦を生じる。同時に、シリンダ6内に供給される
液圧によつてキヤリパ2が第1図で左方へ移動さ
れるので、デイスク1側のライニング9aと反作
動部5側の裏金9bが接合されたパツド9がデイ
スク1側へ前進されて、デイスク1と周接され
る。この結果ブレーキ作用が行われる。上記反作
動部の反力片5a,5cの形状は第2図で明らか
なように、側面の肉圧(t)に比し、中央部の肉
厚(T)が漸次大きくなるように形成される。従
つてパツド9にかかる面圧が均一となつて、パツ
ド9の偏摩耗が低減される。この第2図のものは
一対の反力片を有するもので比較的小型車に適用
される。第3図は中型車に適するもので、反作動
部5に、3ケの反力片5a,5b,5cが設けら
れるもので、両側面の反力片5a,5cの肉厚
(t)に比し、中央の反力片5bの肉厚(T)が
大とされる。第4図は大型車に適するもので、第
3図と同様に3ケの反力片5a,5b,5cが設
けられるが、両側面の反力片5a,5cは側面か
ら中央にむかつて漸次肉厚が大(t1からt2)とさ
れ、中央の圧力片5bを同様に中央にむかつて肉
厚が漸次大(T1からT2)とされる。なおT1はt2
より大と設定されている。従つて第3、第4図の
ものもパツド9にかかる面圧が均一となつてパツ
ド9の偏摩耗が低減される。
