Generally, in an electrostatic recording device, an electrostatic latent image on a charge carrier is developed by a developing device to form a visible image, which is then transferred and fixed onto a recording paper. Since the developer is consumed along with development, it is necessary to constantly replenish the developer to the developing device according to consumption, and a developer hopper is provided as a storage section for replenishing the developer. A large amount of developer is stored in the developer hopper, and the developer is replenished from the developer container before the developer is completely consumed.

In general, developer is a resin powder that has fine particles with a diameter of more than 10 micrometers, has a light specific gravity, and is smooth, so it is extremely easy to scatter.

However, when the opening of the bag-shaped or bolt-shaped developer container is inserted into the developer replenishment port to replenish the developer into the developer hopper, the developer flows out and falls, resulting in a large amount of developer. It scatters in the form of a plume and is released from the vicinity of the replenishment port, floating in the air, adhering to the inside and outside of the recording device, not only degrading its functionality and appearance, but also contaminating the indoor air and other environments. This may cause harmful effects such as staining the operator's body and clothing. Further, there is also the problem that the developer is scattered directly near the developer replenishment port from the discharge port of the container, and the developer may adhere to other utensils.

That is, in a developer replenishment container consisting of a bag containing developer and an opening for discharging the developer of the bag, a flange is formed around the periphery of the opening for discharging the developer of the bag, and the bag A pleated inward folding portion is provided from the flanges on both side edges of the body to both side ends of the bag body to form an opening having a width smaller than the width of the bottom portion of the bag body. The boundary portions are fused or glued together to form a hermetic seal, the flange portion is bendable to the outside, and an engagement hole provided in the flange portion is provided at the opening of the developer reservoir. and fit into the pins that were
The developer replenishment container is characterized in that the replenishment container is opened and sealed by opening and closing the opening/closing lid, which satisfies the above object.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the appearance of the developer supply container according to the present invention. In the figure, a bag 10 containing developer is joined at a side surface overlapping portion a and an upper surface joint portion b to form a bag shape. Bag body 1
The two opposing sides of 0 are folding lines c, d, c',
d' to form two pleats on the inside of the bag body 10 where the wire can be freely drawn. Also, the folding line e,
e' is bent outward to form two auxiliary flanges 12A and 12B. Furthermore, it is bent outward along a folding line f to form two flat flanges 11A and 11B. The flange 11
A and 11B each have a plurality of engagement holes 13,
14, embossing or long grooves are provided at predetermined intervals. In this way, an opening is formed below the bag body 10, which can be opened and closed by moving the flanges 11A and 11B. By joining the vicinity of the folding line f at the bottom of the bag, which forms the opening, by thermal bonding, ultrasonic welding, high-frequency heating, adhesive bonding, etc., the replenishment developer contained in the bag 10 is kept in a sealed state.

In addition, it is desirable that the above-mentioned joint sealing part f should not be easily opened during transportation and storage, but should be easily peeled open by a small external pulling force during replenishment. In order to prevent an accidental peeling accident, the joint sealing portion f may be supplementarily sealed in advance with an adhesive tape, and the tape may be peeled off at the time of replenishment.

When replenishing the developer, pins are engaged with the fitting holes 13 and 14 respectively, and a tensile force is applied to the pins from the outside to forcefully separate the interface of the sealed joint sealing part f to open the container. The developer inside is dropped and discharged.

As is clear from the above explanation, when replenishing developer using the developer container and developer replenishing device of the present invention, the movable lid is closed and the replenishment port inside the main body is sealed. When the developer container is attached and the movable lid is opened and closed, the flange of the developer container, which is integrally connected to the movable lid with a pin, opens and closes. Therefore, when replenishment starts, there is no leakage or scattering of developer to the outside. , there is no problem of developer leakage during replenishment and during processing operations after replenishment is completed, replenishment work can be carried out reliably with easy and quick operation, and both the replenishment device and container are simple in structure and inexpensive, etc. It has the following characteristics, and its effects are remarkable.
